Exxon preparing to shut Beaumont, Texas refinery due to flooding: sources

HOUSTON (Reuters) - Exxon Mobil Corp (XOM.N) is preparing to shut down production at the 369,024 barrel-per-day (bpd) Beaumont, Texas, refinery because of flooding from Tropical Storm Imelda, sources familiar with plant operations said on Thursday.

An Exxon spokesman did not have information immediately available about refinery operations on Thursday morning.
