Blast hits Russian gas pipeline, supplies unaffected: RIA

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia’s Energy Ministry said on Sunday there had been a blast at a gas pipeline in the northern Komi region but that it had caused no casualties and had not affected supplies, the RIA news agency reported.

The incident occurred on the Punga-Vuktyl-Ukhta-2 pipeline in the northern Komi region on Sunday, RIA quoted the ministry as saying.
