Russia restricts pig, pork imports from Hungary due to disease

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia’s agriculture safety watchdog said on Monday it had introduced temporary restrictions on pig and pork imports from Hungary due to an outbreak of African swine fever in Hungary’s Heves region.

It said it had excluded from the list of prohibited imports those products that have undergone treatment which guarantees the termination of the virus.
