Belarus proposes raising transit tariff after oil contamination: Belta

MINSK (Reuters) - Belarus has proposed raising its transit tariff for Russian oil by 21.7% to compensate it for a major contamination earlier this year, the state-owned Belta news agency cited the country’s oil pipeline operator as saying on Friday.

The oil pipeline operator said oil shipments from April to June were down by over 4.7 million tonnes due to the contamination of the Druzhba pipeline, TASS news agency reported.
