Putin warns that U.S.-Russia nuclear treaty will expire unless action taken

MOSCOW (Reuters) - President Vladimir Putin warned of the dangers of Moscow and Washington failing to mend ties on Thursday, saying the START strategic arms reduction treaty would expire in a year and a half unless work on extending it started now.
