SEOUL (Reuters) - Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. (005930.KS), the world’s biggest maker of memory chips, expected a high-single digit percent decline in its dynamic random access memory (DRAM) price, with shipments rising 10 percent.
Cho Nam-yong, executive vice president for Samsung’s semiconductor business, told a conference call on Friday the price of its NAND flash memory chips would likely fall less than 10 percent after recent sharp drops.
