(Reuters) - A broad low pressure area located over the Florida Panhandle and

the Gulf of Mexico has a 90% chance of becoming a tropical cyclone over the next 48 hours, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said on Tuesday.

“This disturbance has the potential to produce heavy rainfall from the Upper Texas Coast to the Florida Panhandle during the next several days,” the NHC said.
