Leslie weakens to subtropical depression: NHC

(Reuters) - Leslie weakened into a subtropical depression and was expected to become a powerful post-tropical cyclone beginning Tuesday, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said on Monday.

The subtropical depression was located about 1,175 miles (1,895 km) west of the Azores, with maximum sustained winds of 35 miles per hour (55 km per hour) in Atlantic.
