(Reuters) - Delta has made landfall near Creole, Louisiana as a Category Two hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson scale, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said on Friday.
The hurricane was located about 10 miles (15 km) east of Cameron, Louisiana, packing maximum sustained winds of 100 miles per hour (155 kph), the NHC said.
