Former Turkish finance minister appointed to head budget and strategy directorate

ISTANBUL (Reuters) - Former Turkish Finance Minister Naci Agbal has been appointed head of the presidential budget and strategy directorate, the country’s Official Gazette said on Wednesday.

President Tayyip Erdogan’s son-in-law Berat Albayrak was appointed Finance Minister in the new government, replacing Agbal in the post following presidential and parliamentary elections a month ago.
