Mayor of Alabama city found guilty of corruption

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama (Reuters) - A jury found the mayor of Alabama’s biggest city, Birmingham, guilty on all 60 counts in a federal corruption trial on Wednesday.

Mayor Larry Langford was found guilty of charges that included bribery, money laundering, criminal conspiracy, mail and wire fraud. He faces possible life in prison as well as disbarment from office.
