N.Y. Fed raises U.S. second quarter GDP growth view above 3 percent

NEW YORK (Reuters) - The U.S. economy is likely growing at a 3.20 percent annualized pace in the second quarter, faster than the 2.97 percent pace estimated a week ago, the New York Federal Reserve’s Nowcast model showed on Friday.

“Positive surprises from surveys and manufacturing data outweighed negative surprises from retail sales and housing data,” the New York Fed said on its website.
