WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi voiced confidence on Tuesday that Democratic negotiators can produce a final healthcare bill that President Barack Obama will sign into law.

Talking with reporters after a Capitol Hill meeting with fellow Democratic leaders, Pelosi said measures earlier passed by the House and Senate could be unified into legislation that would revamp the U.S. healthcare system.

“There’s much we have in common in both our bills and we will reconcile this legislation” to create an affordable healthcare system for the middle class and accountability of the U.S. healthcare insurance industry, Pelosi said.
