WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Republican U.S. Senator Mike Lee will vote for a resolution ending President Donald Trump’s declaration of a national emergency on the southern border, his spokesman said on Wednesday.
The House of Representatives had passed the resolution and every Senate Democrat and four Republicans had previously said they would back it when it will be put to vote on Thursday. Trump has threatened to veto the resolution, and it is unlikely whether the Congress has enough votes to override his veto.
