U.S. judge defends handling of case against ex-Trump adviser Flynn

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. judge hearing the criminal prosecution of former Trump administration official Michael Flynn defended himself on Monday.

Judge Emmet Sullivan said he acted properly in seeking outside views on whether to drop the charges in light of the “unprecedented” way the case had unfolded.
