Trump campaign ex-chairman Manafort apologizes in U.S. federal court

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman Paul Manafort apologized on Wednesday for conspiracy crimes to which he pleaded guilty in a case pursued by Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

“I am sorry for what I have done and for all the activities that have gotten us here today,” Manafort said at a sentencing hearing in U.S. District Court in Washington.
