Brazil's Usiminas says no deaths or critical injuries in blast

SAO PAULO (Reuters) - Thirty people were taken to the hospital to be treated after an explosion at a plant owned by Brazilian steelmaker Usinas Siderurgicas de Minas Gerais SA, the company said. There were no deaths nor critical injuries.

“None of the injured are in critical condition and the majority had light bruising,” Usiminas, as the company is known, said in a statement. “There is no record of a death.”
