Venezuela legislative superbody approves presidential vote by April 30

CARACAS (Reuters) - Venezuela’s pro-government legislative superbody approved on Tuesday a motion to hold the South American OPEC nation’s presidential vote by April 30 of this year at the latest.

Socialist leader Nicolas Maduro is expected to seek re-election, versus an opposition coalition in disarray and with various of its figureheads barred from standing.
