(Reuters) - There is a 95% chance of La Niña conditions continuing through the Northern Hemisphere winter in 2020-21 during Jan-March, and a 65% chance into spring 2021 during March-May, a U.S. government weather forecaster said on Thursday.
La Niña pattern is characterized by unusually cold temperatures in the equatorial Pacific Ocean.
