U.S. 10-year note sold at highest yield since 2014

NEW YORK, May 9 (Reuters) - The U.S. Treasury Department on Wednesday sold $25 billion in 10-year notes at a yield of 2.995 percent, which was the highest yield at auction of this debt maturity since January 2014, Treasury data showed.

The latest 10-year note issue missed offering investors a coupon rate of 3 percent, which was last set in July 2011. Its coupon rate was set at 2.875 percent. (Reporting by Richard Leong Editing by Chris Reese)
