TABLE-US chain store sales rise 1.4 pct last week-ICSC

 July 20 (Reuters) - The International Council of Shopping
Centers and Goldman Sachs on Tuesday released the
following seasonally adjusted weekly data on U.S. chain store
retail sales.

ICSC Research expects same-store sales for July to rise
between 3.0 percent and 4.0 percent compared with a 5.0 percent
decline in July 2009.
The ICSC weekly U.S. retail chain store sales index is a
joint publication between ICSC and Goldman Sachs Group Inc.
Itmeasures nominal same-store sales, excluding restaurant and
vehicle demand, and represents about 75  retail chain stores.
