REFILE-US Republican whip seeks vote on Bush-era tax cuts

(Refiles to delete extraneous word in first paragraph)

WASHINGTON, Sept 13 (Reuters) - U.S. House Republican Whip Eric Cantor called on Monday for a vote on legislation to extend all Bush-era tax cuts amid signs of a compromise among lawmakers and President Barack Obama.

Cantor took the action a day after the top House Republican, John Boehner, said if given no choice he would support extending tax cuts for the middle class even if cuts for the wealthy are allowed to expire. (Reporting by Thomas Ferraro; editing by Kristin Roberts)
