U.S. trade representative welcomes fast track bill

WASHINGTON, April 16 (Reuters) - U.S. Trade Representative Michael Froman on Thursday said he is pleased to see the U.S. Congress moving forward with legislation to streamline the passage of trade deals.

“The Bipartisan Trade Priorities and Accountability Act represents the most significant upgrade to our approach to trade in over four decades,” Froman said. (Reporting by Krista Hughes; Editing by Sandra Maler)
