U.S. 7-year notes sold to lowest demand since March

NEW YORK, July 26 (Reuters) - The U.S. Treasury Department on Thursday sold $30 billion of seven-year securities to the lowest total demand in four months at a yield of 2.930 percent, Treasury data showed.

The ratio of bids to the amount offered was 2.49, the weakest reading since March. This gauge of overall auction demand was measured at 2.53 at the previous seven-year auction in June. (Reporting by Richard Leong, editing by G Crosse)
