Usana plans to sell 3rd party contract manufacturing business

June 5 (Reuters) - Usana Health Sciences Inc. USNA.O said it signed a letter of intent to sell certain assets and inventory related with the third-party contract manufacturing business at its Draper, Utah, facility to focus on its direct selling business.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed, the nutritional and personal care products maker said.

Usana said it sees the sale of the business to be effective sometime during the third quarter. (Reporting by Sankalp Saini in Bangalore)
