July 11 (Reuters) - Dietary supplement manufacturer USANA Health Sciences Inc said it got approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to make over-the-counter drugs.

The company manufactures over 90 percent of its products in-house, including its tableted nutritional supplements, and currently sells them directly to customers and associates.

USANA, which makes nutritional, personal care and weight management products, said it obtained the “drug establishment registration”. (Reporting by Mihir Dalal in Bangalore; Editing by Sriraj Kalluvila)
