Family business says Wal-Mart copied its patented trampoline design

A trampoline maker filed a lawsuit against Wal-Mart Stores Inc on Tuesday, claiming the retailer copied its patented design for a safety enclosure system.

San Jose, California-based JumpSport Inc said in a lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Tyler, Texas, that several trampolines sold by Wal-Mart and its subsidiary Sam’s Club infringe on two patents awarded to JumpSport’s chief executive.
