U.S wheat futures dragged down by corn fall

SYDNEY, July 1 (Reuters) - U.S. December wheat futures fell almost 2 percent in early Asia trading on Friday following a government report showing that corn production could be much higher than expected.

Wheat prices are related to corn which also suffered big falls after the United States of Department of Agriculture (USDA) upped its estimates of U.S. corn production much higher than the market had expected. (Reporting by Bruce Hextall)
