Yemen's Houthis say launched drone attack on Saudi's Jizan airport

DUBAI, July 17 (Reuters) - Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthi group said it launched a drone attack on Jizan airport in southwestern Saudi Arabia near the Yemeni border early on Wednesday.

Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saria said on Facebook the attack disrupted airport operations. There was no immediate comment from Saudi Arabia.

On Tuesday, the Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen said it intercepted and downed three Houthi drones launched towards the southwestern Saudi cities of Jizan and Abha.
