UK Boutique Guitar Strap Maker Bison Boa Turns to The Old Ways in Search of Different

Following on from its 5-star ratings, BisonBoa.com releases its new website and fantastic new sumptuous leather guitar straps.

London, United Kingdom – April 9, 2018

The launch of the new website BisonBoa.com allows guitarists around the world, both amateur and professional, to acquire exquisite guitar straps in specialist leathers. From Italian nubucks to traditional British pit tanned leathers and hand-seared buffalo hides, there are straps in a variety of styles, colors and finishes.

Being fully made in the UK in the Bison Boa workshop, from design to finished article, there is an appeal for most guitar players to treat their ‘axe’ to a strap that is just as special as their Gibson Les Paul, Stratocaster or Martin Dreadnought. The company addresses the cheap, factory-made and low-quality materials used in most guitar straps and goes above and beyond with ‘blade made’ straps from leathers that are super-strong yet pliable and quickly become ‘part’ of the guitar.

The guitar straps are priced keenly for the Core Line, which comes in at £60 usually, and the Pro Line will be significantly more but will utilize the upper echelons of leather hide from British tanner Thomas Ware; one of the world’s most revered and famous tanneries which boasts a 180-year history.

Each leather strap is cut, treated, handled and finished in the workshop traditionally, almost exclusively with hand tools. “There’s actually only one of our straps, the Buffalo King, where we use an electric branding iron to sear a cattle brand into the leather. Apart from that, there is no electricity used in the construction, just blades, hammers and tools. We have created all straps from scratch to be nothing like anything you will commonly come across in your local guitar shop. Every player is totally unique so we design to reflect that. Guitarists have the right to be different and that why Bison Boa exists. We truly believe no other strap maker can compete with the level we are producing, and with more strap designs and a couple of world-firsts planned for the very near future, we are driving a wedge between Bison Boa and mass-produced brands even further.” – Grant Cruick, CEO of BisonBoa.com

About the Company: Bison Boa is a boutique, low-run guitar strap and accessories manufacturer, based in the UK and uses only artisanal and bespoke materials to produce some of the best leather guitar straps in the world. Bison Boa was founded to offer a unique alternative to the generic, mass-made, low-quality straps that are present in guitar stores.
