The order comprises of exceptional individuals who have contributed notably, in the enrichment of the financial and/or technological inheritance of cryptocurrency and blockchain from a research and educational perspective, to help societies worldwide embrace this new technology with an end goal to improve their lives and the future of their respective countries.

The order’s latest mission, announced last Friday, November 9th 2018, by the non-profit organisation, Crypto Chain University, is to explore and develop influential collaborations and partnerships vis-à-vis the adoption of blockchain technologies into other universities’ curriculum, in Africa, to educate and equip students with the knowledge of this disruptive technology.

“Our aim is to help educate the youth and future leaders of African countries on how to use crypto and blockchain technology across multiple industries to shape a healthier economy for the future of these countries,” says Herbert Sim. “The university has commissioned John Kamara, Chevalier of the ‘Ordre des Arts et des Technologies’, to advocate technological arts in Africa,” he confirms.

John Kamara, an esteemed member of the exclusive ‘Ordre des Arts et Technologies’, has been granted the full support from Crypto Chain University, a non-profit organisation whose main mission is to develop resources for all by embracing the theory of decentralisation. “Our purpose is to educate and support worldwide economic growth by making all the information and knowledge on crypto and blockchain technology readily available and accessible for all at no cost,” explains Sim.

“I am honoured to propagate the fields of technological arts of Blockchain, as well as for the University, into the African region,” says Kamara, “The knowledge and adoption of this blockchain technology will be of great value towards realising the continent’s true potential.”

‘Ordre des Arts et des Technologies’ comprises three grades of order: Commandeur (commander), Officier (officer), and Chevalier (Knight). According to the statutes of the Order, members of this honourable organisation must first begin their journey at the lowest tier of chivalry, that being the ‘Chevalier’. They must exercise their duties within that role over a period of a minimum of two years prior to being considered for appointment to the next grade ‘Officier’. The highest rank is ‘Commandeur’ which takes a minimum of four years to reach this respectable position, and they must have displayed additional merit based deeds that have had a significant, positive impact on societies, greater than those required at the lower ranks.

The order has its own shield of honour and members are granted the exclusive rights to possess the ‘Médaille’, featuring the university’s arms surrounded by a golden ring bearing the words ‘Ordre des Arts et des Technologies’. There are three ‘Médaille’, bronze, silver and gold; bronze being that of the Chevaliier, silver for the Officier and gold for the Commandeur.
