Finland's top utility Fortum , which owns 75% of German peer Uniper, has appointed industry executive Bernhard Guenther as its new finance chief, it said on Friday.

Finland's biggest utility Fortum reported an 11% fall in its underlying second-quarter operating profit on Wednesday, dented by low power prices.
Fortum has raised its stake in German peer Uniper to 75.01%, Uniper said on Tuesday, enough to implement a domination agreement which would give the Finnish energy firm access to all finances and cash flow.
