Plastic Omnium Raises H2 Targets, To Extend Expertise In Hydrogen Mobility
Plastic Omnium and ElringKlinger form new venture called EKPO Fuel Cell Technologies
Compagnie Plastic Omnium SA is a France-based plastic processing group with activities in the Automobile and Environment sectors. The Automotive Division comprises two businesses: Auto Exterior parts, offered by Plastic Omnium Auto Exterior, and Fuel Systems provided by Inergy Automotive Systems, among others. The Environment Division specializes in waste containerization, urban and road signage and urban planning, provided by Plastic Omnium Systemes Urbains, SULO and Compagnie Signature. Compagnie Plastic Omnium SA is present in Europe and in the North and South America, including such countries, as Germany, Belgium, Poland, Sweden, Romania, the United States, Canada, Argentina and Brazil. In April 2013, the Company acquired an additional 40%-stake in its joint venture with Chinese company Xenio. In October 2013, it opened a development center in Lozorno, Slovakia, for its exterior and structural components operations.
