Qatar Insurance Company QSPC is a Qatar-based public shareholding company engaged in the business of insurance, reinsurance, real estate and financial advisory services. The Company, together with its subsidiaries, is active in four business segments: Marine & Aviation, Fire & General, Real Estate, Advisory and Investments. The Company’s products include Personal insurance, which covers home care, travelcare plus and automobile insurance, and Business insurance, which covers energy, marine and aviation, property and commercial, medical and motor. The Company operates in the State of Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Sultanate of Oman, Kuwait, Bermuda and Malta. The Company’s subsidiaries include QIC International LLC (QICI), Oman Qatar Insurance Company (OQIC), Kuwait Qatar Insurance Company, Q-Re LLC, Qatar Insurance Company Real Estate and CATCo-Re Ltd., among others. In June, 2014, the Company annouced the completion of Antares Holdings Limited's acquisition.
