Name Description

Heinz Schimmelbusch

Dr. Heinz C. Schimmelbusch has been Chairman of the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer of AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group NV since November 21, 2006. He has served in a similar capacity for businesses comprising AMG since 1998. Mr. Schimmelbusch also serves as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of various companies, including Allied Resource Corporation, in the United States and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PFW Aerospace, Speyer, Germany. He is also Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Timminco Limited and Managing Director and Founder of Safeguard International Fund, L.P. Mr. Schimmelbusch served as Chairman of Metallgesellschaft AG from 1989 until he resigned in 1993. His directorships have included Allianz Versicherung AG, Mobil Oil AG, Teck Corporation, and Methanex Corporation. Dr. Schimmelbusch received his degree (with distinction) and his doctorate (magna cum laude) from the University of Tuebingen, Germany.

Jack Messman

Mr. Jack L. Messman has been appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board of AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group NV, effective as of May 2, 2018. He no longer serves as Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board, effective as of May 2, 2018. He has been Member of the Supervisory Board of the Company since June 6, 2007. Mr. Messman is Corporate Director. He currently holds board positions at RadioShack Corporation, Safeguard Scientifics, Inc. and Telogis, Inc. (Chairman). He is former Chief Executive Officer of Novell, Inc. and Union Pacific Resources Corporation. Mr. Messman holds a Masters of Business Administration Degree from Harvard University and a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware.

Willem van Hassel

Mr. Willem van Hassel has been appointed Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board of AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group N.V., effective as of May 2, 2018. He has served as Member of the Supervisory Board of the Company. He obtained his Law Degree at Erasmus University Rotterdam in 1964. Until 2000, for nearly 30 years, Mr. van Hassel has practised in various legal areas, amongst which company law in general, mergers and acquisitions, shareholders and board room disputes, reorganisations and (receiverships in) bankruptcy cases, structuring of public-private partnerships and privatizations. During his legal career he has always combined his counseling activities with litigation, both in court cases and arbitration. He has acted as counsel to Dutch Parliament as well as the Dutch Accounting Office. In the early 1990’s, he was president of the Netherlands Bar Association. During the last four years of his legal career he was chairman and managing partner of Trenité Van Doorne, at the time one of the Dutch leading law firms. Until 2000 he was also a Deputy Judge with the Rotterdam District Court. Furthermore Mr. van Hassel gets appointments by the Enterprise Chamber of the Court of Appeals in Amsterdam as an independent investigator/ temporary board member in mismanagement suits and shareholders deadlocks. In various capacities he is actively involved with the developments in the field of good governance. He is also editor of the Toolkit Commissariaat (a practical guide for supervisory directors) and serves and has served on various supervisory boards, including Eurocommercial Properties NV until recently. Mr. van Hassel furthermore served on the Board of the Foundation Continuity AMG until March 12th, 2017 when he resigned to prepare for his nomination for AMG’s Supervisory Board.

Jackson Dunckel

Mr. Jackson M. Dunckel is Chief Financial Officer of AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group NV. Mr. Dunckel joins AMG from the Macquarie Group Limited where he has served as Managing Director and Head of Chemicals since 2010. Prior to this, Mr. Dunckel held various senior level positions at JP Morgan Chase since 1995, including Vice President, Global Chemicals and Executive Director, Investment Banking Coverage. Mr. Dunckel graduated, Cum Laude, with a Bachelor's degree in European History from the University of California and completed his MBA in International Finance at the Leonard Stern School of Business in 1995.

Eric Jackson

Mr. Eric E. Jackson is Member of the Management Board, Chief Operating Officer of AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group NV. He has served in various senior capacities for businesses now owned by AMG since 1998. Mr. Jackson previously acted as Director at Phibro, a division of Salomon, Inc, and as Vice-President at Louis Dreyfus Corporation. In addition, from 1979 to 1989 he acted in various roles for Cargill Incorporated in Canada and the United States. Mr. Jackson received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a Masters of Business Administration, both from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada.

Mr. Mike Connor is Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller of AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group NV. Mr. Connor is a Certified Public Accountant, since 2005, and completed his MBA in 2003 at LaSalle University.

Donatella Ceccarelli

Dr. Donatella Ceccarelli is Member of the Supervisory Board of AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group NV. She was appointed to the Supervisory Board in 2014. She is the Chairwoman of the Executive Board of the Flick Foundation (Flick Privatstiftung), Vienna Austria, a private asset management firm overseeing the Flick family investments. Prior to this, from 2008 to 2011, Dr. Ceccarelli was a Global Wealth Management Director at Merrill Lynch International Bank Ltd., Milan, Italy. Dr. Ceccarelli was an Executive Director at Lehman Brothers International Europe, Frankfurt, Germany from 2001 to 2007. Dr. Ceccarelli holds a degree in Business and Economics from the University of Trieste.

Herbert Depp

Mr. Herbert D. Depp is Member of the Supervisory Board of AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group NV. He was appointed to the Supervisory Board in 2013. He served from 2004 – 2011 as Vice President of Commercial Aircraft Programs at GE Aviation. Prior to this, Mr. Depp was Vice President of GE Aviation Operations and Vice President, Marketing and Sales for GE Aircraft Engines. Prior to joining GEAE, Mr. Depp was President of GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) and President of Polaris Aircraft Leasing. Mr. Depp was previously sales manager for Douglas Aircraft Company, responsible for sales of DC-10 aircraft through the United States. Mr. Depp earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in geology from California State University at Fresno in 1966 and a master’s degree in personnel management from Central Michigan University in 1975. An officer in the United States Air Force, Mr. Depp was a pilot and member of the Presidential Squadron.

Steve Hanke

Prof. Steve H. Hanke is Member of the Supervisory Board of AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group NV since 2013. He is a Professor of Applied Economics and Co-Director of the Institute for Applied Economics, Global Health and the Study of Business Enterprise at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. Mr. Hanke is also Senior Fellow at the Cato Institute in Washington, D.C., a Distinguished Professor at the Universitas Pelita Harapan in Jakarta, Indonesia, a Senior Advisor at the Renmin University of China’s International Monetary Research Institute in Beijing, Special Counselor to the Center of Financial Stability in New York, Member of the National Bank of Kuwait’s International Advisory Board, Member of the Financial Advisory Council of the United Arab Emirates and a contributing editor at Globe Asia Magazine. Prof. Hanke serves as Chairman of Richmond Optimus LLC and as Chairman Emeritus of the Friedberg Mercantile Group, Inc.
