Biographies

Name Description

Hua Yu Weng

Mr. Weng Hua Yu @ Simon Eng is the Executive Chairman of the Board, Group Chief Executive Officer of Advance SCT Limited. Mr. Eng joined the Advance SCT Group on 12 March 2009 as its Chief Executive Officer. After the AGM in August 2009, Mr. Eng took on the additional responsibility as the Chairman of the Board. In this capacity, he is responsible for the overall direction and strategic development of the Group. Mr. Eng served 18 years as a senior officer in an elite service of the Singapore Government until 2004, when he retired to join Singapore-listed United Engineers Ltd. He then served as UE’s China CEO and lived in Beijing and Shanghai until 2007. Mr. Eng left UE in 2008 to set up a wastes and wastewater treatment company that invested in several treatment facilities in China. He has since sold the company. In addition to his private sector experience, his many years in the public sector as well as his stint as Singapore’s representative to the United Nations in 1996 has also given him extensive experience in government and diplomatic matters and exposure to international affairs. Mr. Eng graduated from the University of Hamburg, Germany, as a Naval Architect under a Singapore Public Service Commission scholarship in 1985. Post-graduation, he attended an advance management programme at the Harvard Business School.

Te Lung Chang

Mr. Chang Te Lung is the Chief Executive Officer of Western Copper (Taiwan) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Advance SCT ltd. Mr Chang is responsible for the marketing and sale of copper balls in Taiwan and China through the Group’s Taipei-based subsidiary Western Copper Co Ltd, of which the Group is the largest shareholder. Mr Chang reports to the President. He has more than 20 years of experience in the PCB industry and has developed extensive industrial knowledge as well as a wide network of suppliers and customers of electronic OEM and ODM in Taiwan and China.

Peter Chue

Mr. Peter Chue is the Chief Executive Officer of Everglory Cooling Systems Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary of Advance SCT Ltd. He is responsible for the design, manufacture, sales and marketing of CuproBraze radiators and radiator cores in Singapore and China. Prior to joining the Group, Mr Chue was the Managing Director of MWF International Pte Ltd (“MWF”). He has 40 years of experience in the manufacturing of industrial radiators, with a specialty in CuproBraze technology for radiators and radiator cores. He acquired this in-depth knowledge from 1977 to 1985, first as a distributor then a licensee of industrial radiators, and eventually a full joint venture partner with Perfex McQuay Inc USA. His subsequent stints with Modine Manufacturing Co, Perfex Windhoff UK, Windhoff Germany and International Radiator Service US (“Serck”) added breadth and depth to Mr Chue’s credentials as he gained hands-on experience in after-sales, service and repair operations.

Jiye Yang

Mr. Yang Jiye is the President, China Operations of Advance SCT Limited. He is responsible for the Group’s corporate matters, including its finance and human resources, in China. He also assists the Group CEO and President in overseeing all its operations in China. With his extensive understanding and familiarity with the various branches of the Group’s operations, Mr Yang contributes significantly in the Group’s strategic directions for China. Mr Yang joined the Group in October 2011. Prior to his joining the Group, Mr Yang worked in the China headquarter of United Engineers Ltd, where he gained a wealth of experience in business management. Mr Yang graduated from Ningxia University in Yinchuan, China.

Daming Wang

Mr. Wang Daming is the Group Senior Vice President - Business Development of Advance SCT Limited and General Manager of B&F Envirotech (Shenyang) Co., Ltd and Everglory Radiators (Shenyang) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the company. He assists the Group CEO and President in developing new businesses for the Group, especially in China. He is also responsible for overseeing the operations of the Group’s wastewater treatment plant and CuproBraze radiator factory both located in Shenyang, China. Mr Wang possesses extensive engineering experience in China. He was a member of the expert panel in Liaoning Province put together to inspect engineering construction projects. In 2009, he was selected as an expert panel member of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (MOHURD) of the PRC. Mr Wang graduated with a Bachelor’s degree majoring in Machine Design, Manufacturing and Automation from Nanchang Aerospace University

Meei Ying Monica Kwok

Ms. Monica Kwok is the Vice President - Corporate Affairs & Communications of Advance SCT Ltd. She is responsible for the full spectrum of corporate and secretarial functions of the Group, including investor relations and Group human resource management. Ms Kwok joined the Group in November 2007. Prior to joining the Group, she was the General Manager of the Money World Group of companies, a leading foreign exchange player, for about 12 years. Ms Kwok graduated from Southern Cross University, Australia with a Master of Business Administration.

Lei Hua

Ms. Hua Lei is the Group Financial Controller of Advance SCT Limited. She is responsible for the finance, accounting, taxation and compliance reporting for the Group and its subsidiaries. Ms Hua joined the Group in April 2013 as the Finance Manager and was appointed to the current role in December of the same year. Prior to joining the Group, Ms Hua accumulated more than six years of experience as an Audit Senior with CPA firms in Singapore. Ms Hua graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Accounting.

Siew Hoong Ng

Mr. Ng Siew Hoong serves as Company Secretary of the Company. Linus is involved in corporate finance and advisory work in relation to assets and projects financing (for both local and cross-border bilateral, syndicated and mezzanine loan transactions), and has been advising on these transactions in excess of transactional aggregate of USD 6.9 Billion thus far. He is particularly active in representing financial institutions in assets and vessels financing transactions and has spoken at international conferences on these topics, including the International Maritime Conference 2012 held in Singapore.

Keng Ho Chan

Mr. Chan Keng Ho is an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company. Mr Andrew Chan joined Ever Glory Logistics Pte Ltd (EGL) in January 2015. He leads the Finance & Admin function of EGL and Sunrise Investors Pte Ltd (an investment company), particularly in their business performances, P&L reporting, and costs analysis in order to optimize business strategies and implement new practices for business growth and profitability. Prior to this, he was the Financial Services Consultant at AIA Singapore, where he achieved three consecutive years of Million Dollars Club (MDC) Silver Award between the periods 2011­2013. He had honed his skill set especially in areas of financial­ need analysis for both individuals as well as risk management and succession planning for corporate clients. Mr Chan started his career as an external auditor with KPMG Malaysia in 1997 with various audit experiences in logistic businesses and manufacturing companies. He has more than 10 years of financial experiences in various organizations and industries including iPropertyNet, MediaCorp Publishing, Nicheview Corporation, AXP Solutions and ST Electronics. Mr Chan is a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) and Malaysian Institute of Accountants (CA M) since year 2000. He graduated from Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology, New Zealand with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Accounting.

Choon Wui Lim

Mr. Lim Choon Wui, Paul is Non-Executive Independent Director of the Company. Mr Paul Lim was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Secura Group Limited, an integrated security solutions provider listed on SGXCatalist in 2016. He stepped down from this role on 10 Oct 2017. Mr Lim actively contributes to the business ecosystem as member of the Security Industry Transformation Map (ITM) Tripartite Committee (SITC); Committee Member of the Youth Business Affairs Committee of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCCI); Committee Member of the Singapore Business Federation SME Committee; Council Member of the Singapore infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF) and the Association of Small and Medium Entreprises (ASME); Member of the Action Centre for Entrepreneurs (ACE) Internationalisation Committee and the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID); Founding Member of the Hong Kong-ASEAN Economic Cooperation Foundation (HKAECF). Mr Lim also has investments and mentors some companies in industries such as Mechanical and Engineering, Digital Technology, Social Enterprise, E-commerce and HR Tech. Prior to this, between 1990 and 2010, Mr Lim held various senior postings in the Singapore Police Force (SPF). Mr Lim graduated from Cambridge University with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) (Mathematics) in 1993 and a Master of Arts in 1997. He also attained a Master in Public Management (Lee Kuan Yew Fellowship) from National University of Singapore in 2002.
