Name Description

Michael Stubblefield

Mr. Michael Stubblefield is Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Stubblefield was named our CEO in November 2017. Prior to assuming his current position, Mr. Stubblefield served as Avantor’s CEO, a position he held from May 2014 to November 2017. Prior to this role, Mr. Stubblefield served as a Senior Expert for Chemicals Practice of McKinsey & Company from 2013 to 2014. Previously, Mr. Stubblefield held a variety of roles at Celanese Corporation from 1994 to 2012 including Vice President and General Manager, Advanced Engineered Materials and Chief Marketing Officer. Mr. Stubblefield earned a B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Utah, as well as an MBA from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.

Gregory Cowan

Mr. Gregory L. Cowan is Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President of the Company, In his current role, Mr. Cowan is responsible for our financial operations on a global basis. Prior to assuming his current position, Mr. Cowan served as VWR’s Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, a position he held from June 2009 to November 2017. Prior to this role, Mr. Cowan served as VWR’s Vice President and Corporate Controller. During his tenure at VWR, Mr. Cowan oversaw compliance efforts, the development of global policies and procedures, as well as internal and external reporting processes. Cowan has also been directly involved in various strategic projects involving commercial activities and changes to systems and infrastructure. In the past five years, Mr. Cowan also served as a Director of Emtec, Inc. Mr. Cowan earned a B.A. in accounting from Rutgers University.

Gerard Christian

Mr. Gerard J. Christian is Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer of the Company. In his current role, Mr. Christian leads our technology, digital services, process excellence and global business center organizations globally. Prior to assuming his current position, Mr. Christian served as VWR’s Senior Vice President and Chief Global Business Services Officer, a position Christian held from March 2016 to November 2017. Prior to this role, Mr. Christian served as VWR’s Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer from August 2012 until February 2016, Vice President of Shared Services as well as Vice President, Pricing and Contract Administration from January 2011 until August 2012 and Vice President and Country Manager for VWR Ireland from March 2007 until December 2010. Mr. Christian earned a B.S. in accounting from Canisius College and an M.B.A. from the University of Buffalo, with a concentration in finance.

Grant Boldt

Dr. Grant Boldt is Biopharma Production Solutions of the Company, Dr. Grant Boldt is our Executive Vice President, Biopharma Production Solutions. In his current role, Dr. Boldt leads the integration of our bioproduction businesses. Prior to assuming his current position, Dr. Boldt led the mammalian manufacturing business unit at Lonza from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, Dr. Boldt served as Sigma-Aldrich’s Vice President, Research Pharmaceuticals from 2014 to 2015 and Director, Commercial Life Sciences from 2011 to 2014. Dr. Boldt earned a M.S. degree in Chemistry from San Diego State University and a Ph.D. in Chemical Biology from the Scripps Research Institute.

James Bramwell

Mr. James Bramwell is Executive Vice President - Strategic Partners of the Company. In his current role, Mr. Bramwell leads our customer relationships and contracts globally. Prior to assuming his current position, Mr. Bramwell served as VWR’s Senior Vice President, Strategic Partners, a position he held from June 2008 to November 2017. Prior to this role, Mr. Bramwell served in several roles at VWR including Area Vice President of the Southwest U.S. and Mexico and Vice President of Major Accounts. Mr. Bramwell also served as the President of the VWR Foundation for four years. Mr. Bramwell earned a B.S. in business management from Brigham Young University.

Steven Eck

Mr. Steven W. Eck is Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer of the Company. He joined the Company in April 2019. Mr. Eck has significant experience in the accounting and auditing fields, including at large global companies. Mr. Eck previously served as the principal accounting officer of CSS Industries, Inc., a consumer products company, from June 2018 to April 2019. Prior to joining CSS Industries in 2018, Mr. Eck served as a Vice President of Finance and in other senior level finance positions at Fidelity National Information Systems, a financial technology and payments company, between 2014 and 2018. Mr. Eck also served in senior accounting roles at Gardner Denver, Inc., an industrial manufacturer, and at General Electric Company, a high-tech industrial company, between 2010 and 2014. Mr. Eck began his professional career in 2001 at Deloitte & Touche LLP. Mr. Eck earned a B.A. in accounting from Muhlenberg College and is a Certified Public Accountant.
