Name Description

Brunello Cucinelli

Mr. Brunello Cucinelli serves as Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer at Brunello Cucinelli S.p.A. After obtaining a diploma as building surveyor, he enrolled in the faculty of Engineering but then dropped out. In 1978 he set up a small company and captivated the market with his idea of dying cashmere. He has been Chairman of the Umbria Repertory Theater since 2000. He received an Honorary Degree in Philosophy and Ethics of Human Relations.

Moreno Ciarapica

Mr. Moreno Ciarapica has served as Chief Financial Officer, Executive Director and Financial Reporting Officer of Brunello Cucinelli S.p.A. since April 27, 2012. Moreno obtained his secondary school diploma in Accountancy and then took several specialization courses in business management, administration, and finance and management control at different institutes of higher education, including SDA Bocconi University. His career began in 1982 at Ellesse, a textile group and sportswear manufacturer, where he worked in financial management and was ultimately placed in charge of the group's consolidated balance sheet. In 1989 he left Ellesse Group and went to work for Carloni Group (engineering and construction), where he was the Financial Director from 1989 to 1993. Moreno Ciarapica joined Brunello Cucinelli Group as CFO in 1993. Over the years he has supported and managed the financial and strategic aspects of the group’s international development.

Luca Lisandroni

Mr. Luca Lisandroni has serves as Executive Director, joint Chief Commercial Officer of BRUNELLO CUCINELLI S.P.A. He has been Director of the company since April 21, 2016. After having attended classical studies, he graduated in Economics and Social Sciences at the Universita Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan. He started his career at the Marketing Division of L'Oreal Paris in Italy, as product manager of the brand “Studio Line”. In 2005 he joined Luxottica as Key Account Manager. Over the years he took on roles of increasing responsibility within the Wholesale Division of Luxotttica which led him to know the Group's global commercial organization and to increase contacts with the industrial division, developing projects to optimize the supply chain and maximize customer service quality. In 2011 he was appointed General Manager of Luxottica Brazil, based in Sao Paulo. In the first months he took care of the completion of the acquisition of Tecnol, a manufacturer and distributor of glasses in Latin America. In the nearly five years of management of Luxottica Brazil, he completed the vertical integration and created a solid and steady growth, so that Luxottica Brazil has become one of the key branches of Luxottica Group. In March 2016 he ceased his relationship with Luxottica Group. He is now joint Chief Commercial Officer with responsibility of managing and developing for mono- and multi-brand networks of the Brunello Cucinelli Group and Co-CEO.

Riccardo Stefanelli

Mr. Riccardo Stefanelli has served as Executive Director, Chief Commercial Officer of Brunello Cucinelli S.p.A. since June 2011. Mr. Riccardo obtained his three-year degree in Legal Sciences at Universita degli Studi di Perugia in 2004. He joined Brunello Cucinelli Group in 2006 and initially worked in the company's Financial Department, where he acquired experience in investment planning and control. In 2007 he combined his position as a Retail Planning and Control Manager with his function as the reporting person for the legal affairs of the group, and he also worked in the Human Resources committee. In 2011 he worked also as Group Sales Manager for mono- and multi-brand networks

Andrea Pontremoli

Mr. Andrea Pontremoli has serves as Lead Independent Director of Brunello Cucinelli S.p.A. since March 16, 2012. He is Chairman of the Control and Risks Committee and Member of the Remuneration Committee within the Company. In 1980 he was hired by IBM as a maintenance engineer and then climbed the career ladder to become a European specialist for large computers. In 1985 he started his managerial career in the company’s Bolzano branch, taking on positions of increasing responsibility both in Italy and abroad. Eventually, in 1994, he was asked to join the workgroup that would lead to the creation, two years later, of IBM Global Services in Italy. From 1995 to 1997 he was Director of Integrated Technology Services for Italy and in 1997 his responsibilites were extended to include the markets of southern Europe. He left Milan in 1999 and moved to Paris. At first, he was appointed Vice President Operations of Global Services for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, then later became General Manager Integrated Technology Services for the same geographic area. He returned to Italy in August 2001 to take up the post of General Manager IBM Global Services for Southern Europe, managing the work of some 25,000 people. Since November 2007, he is Chief of the “Executive Master in Technology and Innovation Management”, at ALMA Graduate School Università di Bologna. Since April 2008, he is in the Board of Directors of Barilla S.p.A. Since January 2017 he is member of the Board of Directors of Università degli Studi di Parma. In 2004 the University of Parma awarded him an honorary degree in Computer Engineering for his expertise acquired in his years of management and for his unswerving commitment to the technological development of local companies. On 2 June 2006 was made a Knight Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic by the President of Italy, Carlo Azeglio Ciampi.

Camilla Cucinelli

Ms. Camilla Cucinelli has served as Director at Brunello Cucinelli S.p.A. since April 23, 2014. She had a foreign language education. In 2002 she joined the Brunello Cucinelli Group. After a brief experience in the commercial department both in Italy and in the US, she focused on the creative process and becomes a member of the style office of the Company. During the years she contributed developing the Brunello Cucinelli collections, proposing and developing new dresses and accessories. The knowledge of the Company and of the product development made her able to intervene in the organization of the different activities related to the creation of woman’s collections. She is now part of the first level woman style team and takes care of creating the collections in close cooperation with the Managing Director; she co-head of the woman style office. She is also a member of the Ethics Committee together with the founder Brunello Cucinelli and Fr. Cassian Folsom.

Carolina Cucinelli

Ms. Carolina Cucinelli has acted as Director of BRUNELLO CUCINELLI S.P.A. since April 20, 2017. She completed her studies in Master of Art, Fashion and Costume in 2010 and puts to the test her education within the Style Office of Brunello Cucinelli S.p.A., inspired by the creativity and by a strong passion for the art world. She initially focuses on accessories, she then develops and hones her skills, thanks to which she can diversify her duties, with increasing responsibility. From 2016 she joins the team “Web Image and Communication" of the Company – collaborating with the two managers in charge – undertaking an activity that allows her to make the most of her inclinations and to continue the search between the representation of a model, the product perception and the usability of visual arts applied to fashion. In this new environment she closely deals with the development of the “Great Project of the Internet”, basically inspired by the “Artisans Humanists of the Web” and expected to combine the ancient wisdom of the hands with the horizon of the digital frontiers of our time.

Giovanna Manfredi

Ms. Giovanna Manfredi has served as Director of Brunello Cucinelli S.p.A. since June 16, 2011. Her partnership with Brunello Cucinelli began in 1992. Giovanna studied languages at the Institute for Translators and Interpreters in Rome, also spending long periods in Germany and in USA. She entered the fashion world when she opened her own atelier on Via del Babbuino in Rome in 1985. She initially focused on sartorial production but launched her own ready-to-wear collection two years later with the “LE MANFREDI” brand, which was distributed in Italy. When Giovanna's partnership with Brunello Cucinelli began in 1992, she changed her company's name to Gunex s.r.l. and, subsequently, to Gunex S.p.A., when it became a joint-stock company. Over the next 22 years, Giovanna developed Gunex collections in close cooperation with the Brunello Cucinelli style team, coordinating the stylistic image of the lines and continuously building a unique product perception aimed at establishing a specific stylistic approach on a group level. After the merge of Gunex s.r.l. in the Brunello Cucinelli S.p.A., Giovanna is directly involved in the creative development of the women's collections and she heads the team of designers and tailors of the Rome style unit. She often takes part in research trips abroad to study distinctive intercultural trends in the fashion industry, which allows her to fine-tune her ability to study the themes of inspiration for the new collections.

Massimo Bergami

Dr. Massimo Bergami has served as Independent Director of BRUNELLO CUCINELLI S.P.A. since April 20, 2017. Massimo Bergami is Full Professor of Organizational Behavior at the Universita degli Studi di Bologna, he is Founding and Dean of Bologna Business School. He is also: Founding Chair of the EMBA Consortium for Global Business Innovation; Senior Advisor of the MAST Foundation, established by Isabella Seragnoli; Member of the Board of Trustees of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). Since 2015 he is a columnist of “Il Sole 24 Ore”, the most important Italian economic and financial newspaper. After a Bachelor Degree in Economics (with honors), he received a PhD in Management at the Universita degli Studi di Bologna and continued his studies at The University of Michigan and at The New York University; he also taught at the University of Florida, and at the Bocconi University. He is Honorary Professor at Mirbis (Moscow, Russia) and Nankai University (Tianjin, China).He served as Non-Executive Director in the Board of Directors of Ducati Motor Holding, Ferretti S.p.A., Telecom Italia Media, Previlabor and Università della Tuscia. Massimo Bergami founded and led the StartCup (the first business plan competition in Italy) and he is a member of the Advisory Board of the Best Program, started by the US Embassy in Italy and the Fulbright Commission with the aim to provide experiential education for young Italian entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley. He has served the Italian Government many times during the years (Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, Ministry of the Environment and Protection of Land and Sea). His research includes organizational identity, people strategy, brand and organizational communities, digital transformation. He published a number of articles and books in Italian and English language.

Candice Koo

Ms. Candice Koo has served as Independent Director of Brunello Cucinelli S.p.A. since March 16, 2012. She is Member of the Control and Risks Committee and of the Remuneration Committee within the Company. After graduating from Phillips Academy (Andover, Massachusetts) she obtained her BA from Brown University in 1999. In November 1999 she joined Li & Fung (Italia) S.r.l., based in Florence, where until 2000 she worked on product development. From November 2000 to August 2002 she worked in Li & Fung (Trading) Ltd’s Hong Kong branch where she held various positions, being responsible above all for quality control, operations supervision and business planning. From 2002 to 2005 she did an haute couture course at Il Bagatto fashion house in Bologna, which specializes in haute couture and leather apparel. In December 2004 she earned a Master of Arts in International Affairs (The Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies) from the Johns Hopkins University in Bologna. She joined Hermès Group in November 2005 and until October 2008 held various positions in Hermès Italy’s divisions: Hermès Sellier-Operations development management, Women’s Prêt-à-Porter; Hermès Sales Division-Customer Service; Hermès Distribution France-Sales Management; Hermès Sellier-Operations development management, Leather Goods. From November 2008 to December 2013 she is head of the Hermès Group Retail Merchandising Department, which covers all product categories and all geographic areas; from January 2014 until February 2016 she has also been Director of Operations. In January 2015 found a new company, Dolcezza Holdings, of which she is Director, which provides commercial consultancies to other companies and manages electronic payments through a subsidiary company, Cancan, based in Bangkok, of which she is Managing Director. She holds British, Canadian and Hong Kong citizenships. She is fluent in English (mother tongue), Cantonese (mother tongue), French, Italian, Mandarin and Arabic.

Matteo Marzotto

Mr. Matteo Marzotto has served as Independent Director of Brunello Cucinelli S.p.A. since March 16, 2012. He is Member of the Control and Risks Committee and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee within the Company. Matteo Marzotto has been appointed Executive Vice President of Italian Exhibition Group since October 2016; former President and CEO of Fiera di Vicenza S.p.A (December 2013 to October 2016). As of September 2016 he has been named President and shareholder of Dondup, whilst from October 2012 he is President of the Progetto Marzotto Association, and since September 2008 he is also President of Mittelmoda Fashion Award. As an entrepreneur, he has been Chairman of Vionnet S.p.A., the iconic brand acquired and relaunched from January 2009 to January 2013. After working for fifteen years in various capacities for his family’s companies (Marzotto S.p.A.), acquiring his experience in the textile and clothing business, between 2003 and 2008 he was first COO and subsequently Chairman of Valentino S.p.A. As a Civil Servant, from June 2013 to July 2016 he has served as Chairman of Fondazione CUOA-University Centre of Business Administration and from August 2008 to November 2011 he has been Chairman and Commissioner of the Enit-­National Tourism Agency. He is one of the founders (January 1997) of the Italian Cystic Fibrosis Research Foundation, as well as a permanent member (September 2013) of the board of Nuovi Orizzonti – AIPDF (Private International Association of the faithful of pontifical right). Member of the board of directors of several companies, including Brunello Cucinelli S.p.A., Morellato & Sector S.p.A and Fondazione CUOA-­University Centre of Business Administration. Matteo Marzotto has been part of the Ambassador team for the World Exposition Expo Milan 2015.
