Name Description

Dennis Dammerman

Mr. Dennis D. Dammerman has been appointed as Chairman of Capmark Financial Group Inc. effective December 4, 2008. He has served as a Director of the company since March 2006. In December 2005, Mr. Dammerman retired as the Vice Chairman and Executive Officer of the General Electric Company and the Chairman of General Electric Capital Services, Inc., positions he had held since 1998. Mr. Dammerman joined the General Electric Company after graduating from the University of Dubuque in 1967. He had financial assignments in several of that company's businesses before being named Vice President and Controller of GE Capital Corporation, formerly known as General Electric Credit Corporation, in 1979. In 1981, he became Vice President and General Manager of GE Capital's Commercial Financial Services Department and, later that year, of GE Capital's Real Estate Financial Services Division. He was appointed Senior Vice President for Finance of General Electric Company in 1984 and became a director of the company in 1994. He is currently a director of American International Group Inc. and BlackRock Inc.

Steve Nave

Mr. Steve Nave is President, Chief Executive Officer of the company. He joined Bluestem Brands in December 2012. Prior to Bluestem, Steve was a Senior Officer of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. where he was most recently the chief executive of Walmart.com U.S. Prior to running Walmart.com, Steve held several executive leadership roles for Walmart.com including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Before joining Walmart.com in 2000 as a member of the launch team, Steve spent five years with Ernst & Young, LLP. Steve graduated from Oklahoma State University with a BS in Accounting. One of Steve’s prior positions was as Chief Sabbatical Officer for the Nave family, where a main responsibility was towel laundry (excluding the nice towels).

Mark Wagener

Mr. Mark P. Wagener is Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President of the company. He started with Bluestem in November 2006. Prior to joining us, Mark was Senior Vice President and Controller at Metris Companies, a $12 billion credit card company. He also worked for 13 years at Wells Fargo (formerly Norwest Corporation) in various corporate finance positions, the last of which was Director of Corporate Planning and Analysis. Mark began his career with Arthur Andersen & Co. where he worked for five years as an auditor serving clients in the retail and advertising industries. He has an MBA in Finance from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management and a BA in Accounting from St. John’s University (Minnesota). Not only does he know the numbers, Mark also has a way with words. This smooth talker was a DJ for his college radio station.

Peter Michielutti

Mr. Peter G. Michielutti serves as Chief Financial Officer of the Company, effective July 24, 2017. Mr. Michielutti succeeds Mark Wagener, who announced his retirement earlier this year and served as Bluestem's CFO for over 10 years. Prior to joining Christopher & Banks in 2012, Mr. Michielutti served as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at Whitehall Jewelers and interim CFO as a retail consultant. Prior to Christopher & Banks, Mr. Michielutti was the Chief Financial Officer at Wilson's Leather from 2001-2006 following his role of Head of Information Services at US Bancorp from 1998-2001. Prior to US Bancorp, Mr. Michielutti served as Chief Operating officer and Chief Financial Officer at Fingerhut Companies after having spent over 16 years at Household International, most-recently as its Executive Director & Chief Financial Officer.

Vince Jones

Mr. Vince Jones is Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President of the company. He joined Bluestem in 2013 and is responsible for Information Technology, eCommerce Product Management, Fulfillment Operations, Customer Engagement, and Collections & Recovery. He previously served as Chief Executive Officer of eBags, Inc. Prior to eBags, Vince was VP of Operations & Finance at SugarSync and a founding member at Walmart.com. Vince started his career as a consultant at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) where he specialized in technology and operations consulting. Vince holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BS in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas. On a recent 17-day family RV trip, Vince and his family attempted the world record for Most S’mores Consumed on a Single Trip. Unfortunately, due to the massive sugar buzz at about day 15, they lost count.

Chidam Chidambaram

Mr. Chidam A. Chidambaram is Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer of the company. He joined Bluestem Brands in May 2009 and is responsible for all marketing activities of Bluestem Brands. Most recently he was General Manager of Credit products at Pay Pal. He has experience building businesses at HSBC Cards USA, T-Mobile USA, Capital One Financial and building brands at Coca-Cola and Kraft Foods. Chidam holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BSE from the University of Michigan. Something interesting about Chidam is that he is a connoisseur of very fine foods. Ask him about Miracle Whip and Kraft Macaroni & Cheese.

Erica Street

Ms. Erica C. Street is Executive Vice President & Chief Legal Officer of the company. She is directs the company’s Office of General Counsel and also serves as Compliance Officer and Secretary to the Board of Directors. She joined Bluestem Brands in January 2007 as Associate General Counsel, was appointed Vice President in September 2008, General Counsel in September 2010 and Senior Vice President in March 2013. From January 2003 through January 2007, she provided various legal and consulting services through E Street & Associates PLLC. From 1989 to 2003, she held positions within Target Corporation (formerly Target Stores, a division of Dayton Hudson Corporation), including Senior Counsel, Assistant General Counsel and President, Target Brands, Inc. She has a BA from Hillsdale College (Michigan), and her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, Ann Arbor. Erica once baked and decorated 150 dozen sugar cookies in a single weekend. And that was just for fun! (We think.) This is one lady who gets things done.

Saby Sengupta

Mr. Saby Sengupta is Executive Vice President & Chief Credit Risk Officer of the company. He joined the company as Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer. Previously, Saby held the roles of Vice President of Decision Sciences and Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management and Decision Sciences at GE Money, Americas. Saby also previously held positions at American Express Consumer Lending. He has a Masters from Columbia University and graduated as valedictorian from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) with a BS. When the chips are down, nothing is as soothing as Saby, bringing out the guitar, and serenading the team.

Gina Sprenger

Ms. Gina D. Sprenger is Executive Vice President - Merchandising of the company. She oversees Bluestem Merchandising, including web and catalog merchandising, domestic and international sourcing, inventory management, merchandise operations, and quality assurance. She brings over 25 years of experience to Bluestem Brands, primarily with Target Corporation where she spent the last 7 years as Senior Vice President Merchandising of the Home and Seasonal Businesses.

Shawn Moren

Ms. Shawn Moren is Senior Vice President of Human Resources of the company. She joined the Bluestem team and most recently led HR for Supervalu’s retail companies and distribution centers. She also held additional leadership positions in Supervalu including, Vice President-Talent Management and Group Vice President-Total Rewards, as well as HR leadership positions in BestBuy.com and SuperAmerica. Twin Cities Business magazine awarded her “Emerging Leader Award” in 2007 and she received a 2013 “Top Women in Grocery” Award from Progressive Grocer magazine. Shawn is a guest speaker for the University of Minnesota doctoral program, and holds a BA from the University of Kentucky and an MBA from Eastern Kentucky University. Talk about a fast talker: Shawn is a professional auctioneer and volunteers for local charity events.

Steven Baum

Steven P. Baum has served as a Director of Capmark Financial Group Inc. since March 2006. Mr. Baum is a founding member of Five Mile Capital Partners, where he has been employed since 2003. Prior to founding Five Mile Capital Partners, Mr. Baum was an Executive Vice President with Paine Webber Inc. in New York City for approximately six years.

Peter Bechen

Peter F. Bechen has served as a Director of Capmark Financial Group Inc. since March 2006. Mr. Bechen is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Realty Associates, L.P., formerly known as Pacific Realty Trust, positions that he has held since 1979. Prior to joining Pacific Realty Trust in 1979, Mr. Bechen was employed by Bancorp Management Advisors, Inc. where he served as President from 1975 to 1979. Mr. Bechen is currently a director of ESCO Corporation and a member of the Industrial and Office Park Development Council of the Urban Land Institute.

Edward Fox

Edward A. Fox has served as a Director of Capmark Financial Group Inc. since March 2006. Mr. Fox served as Chairman of SLM Corporation from August 1997 until May 2005. From 1992 until March 2007, Mr. Fox served as a director of Greenwich Capital Holdings, a subsidiary of The Royal Bank of Scotland plc. From May 1990 until September 1994, Mr. Fox was the Dean of the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College and from April 1973 until May 1990, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of the Student Loan Marketing Association. Mr. Fox is currently a director of Delphi Financial Group Inc.

Lisa Gavales

Ms. Lisa Gavales is Director of the Company. Ms. Gavales, has served as Chairperson, President and CEO of Things Remembered, Inc., a retailer of personalized gifts in the U.S. and Canada, since November 2014. Prior to joining Things Remembered, Ms. Gavales served as President, Direct and Chief Marketing Officer of Talbots, Inc., a specialty retailer and direct marketer of women's apparel and accessories, from April 2013 through March 2014. Prior to joining Talbots, Ms. Gavales served as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Express LLC from January 2008 through March 2013, where she led the launch of express.com. Prior to Express, Ms. Gavales' career included 14 years of increased leadership responsibilities at Bloomingdale's, including launching bloomingdales.com and finally serving as Senior Vice President of Marketing. Ms. Gavales began her career at Macy's then spent several years as a management consultant for Price Waterhouse's Management Horizon division. Ms. Gavales previously served on the boards of Shop.org and RAMA for the National Retail Federation as well as Charles & Colvard. She holds her Bachelor's degree and an MBA from the University of Bridgeport.

Bradley Gross

Bradley J. Gross is Director of Capmark Financial Group Inc. since November 2008. Mr. Gross has been a managing director of Goldman, Sachs & Co. since 2007. From 2003 to 2007, he was a vice president at Goldman, Sachs & Co. He has been involved in transaction execution and investment management in both the United States and Japan. Mr. Gross joined Goldman, Sachs & Co. in the Real Estate Principal Investment Area in 1995 and joined the Principal Investment Area in 2000. Mr. Gross serves on the boards of directors of Aeroflex, Inc. and Griffon Corporation.

John Grundhofer

John F. Grundhofer has served as a Director of Capmark Financial Group Inc. since April 2006. Mr. Grundhofer has served as Chairman Emeritus of U.S. Bancorp since January 2003. Mr. Grundhofer served as Chairman of U.S. Bancorp from the merger of U.S. Bancorp and Firstar Corporation in February 2001 until December 2002. Prior to the merger of U.S. Bancorp and Firstar Corporation, Mr. Grundhofer served as the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of U.S. Bancorp. Mr. Grundhofer also serves as a director of The Donaldson Company, Inc., Securian Financial Group, Inc., BJ's Restaurants, Inc. and World Point Terminals Inc.

William Hall

William C. Hall, Jr. has served as a Director of Capmark Financial Group Inc. since July 2008. Mr. Hall has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of GMAC Commercial Finance since May 2006 and is responsible for overseeing its global operations. Mr. Hall joined GMAC Commercial Finance in 1999 as a co-founder of a predecessor organization and served as president of its European Operations division from August 2005 to May 2006 and as president of its Structured Finance division from March 2002 to August 2005. Prior to joining GMAC Commercial Finance, he was employed by Heller Financial and National Westminster Bank. Mr. Hall is currently a director of a number of companies within GMAC.

Thomas Kendall

Thomas A. Kendall has served as a Director of Capmark Financial Group Inc. since March 2006. Mr. Kendall is a founding member of Five Mile Capital Partners, where he has been employed since 2003. Prior to founding Five Mile Capital Partners, Mr. Kendall served as Managing Director of Asset Management of Financial Security Assurance Inc. from November 1999 to February 2003. He is currently a member of the board of directors of Aviation Facilities Company.

Konrad Kruger

Konrad R. Kruger has served as a Director of Capmark Financial Group Inc. since March 2006. Mr. Kruger is a founding member of Five Mile Capital Partners, where he has been employed since 2003. Prior to founding Five Mile Capital Partners, Mr. Kruger served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Corporate Bank for NatWest Bank and as a member of the NatWest Bank Management Committee. He served as a Co-Chief Executive Officer of Greenwich NatWest, the predecessor of Greenwich Capital, for a period of more than twelve years.

Daniel Neidich

Daniel M. Neidich has served as a Director of Capmark Financial Group Inc. since March 2006. He is the Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer of Dune Capital Management, an investment firm he co-founded in October 2004. In December 2003, Mr. Neidich retired from his position as a Managing Director of Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he served as a member of the firm's management committee, co-head of the merchant banking division and Chairman of the investment committee of Whitehall Fund, a real estate investment fund. Mr. Neidich joined Goldman Sachs & Co. in 1978 in the real estate banking department. In 1984, Mr. Neidich became a partner of Goldman Sachs & Co. and in 1990 he became head of Goldman Sachs & Co.'s real estate department. In 1991, Goldman Sachs & Co., under Mr. Neidich's direction, raised the first Whitehall Fund to invest in real estate opportunities. Mr. Neidich is currently a Trustee of the Urban Land Institute, a member of the board of directors of General American Investors Company, Inc., a member of the board of directors and Secretary of the Real Estate Roundtable and serves on the international advisory board of the Real Estate Academic Initiative at Harvard University (where he was formerly Chairman) and the Columbia Business School's MBA Real Estate Program Advisory Board. Mr. Neidich also serves on the boards of directors of Prep for Prep and the New York University Child Study Center.

Scott Nuttall

Scott C. Nuttall is Director of Capmark Financial Group Inc. since March 2006. Mr. Nuttall has been a member of the general partner of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co.("KKR") since 2005, having been employed by that firm since 1996. While a member of KKR, Mr. Nuttall's primary responsibilities have been identifying potential acquisition opportunities for private equity funds sponsored by KKR, negotiating and implementing these acquisitions and providing monitoring and consulting advice to portfolio companies following acquisitions. Mr. Nuttall was an executive at The Blackstone Group from 1995 to November 1996. He is currently a director of KKR Financial Holdings LLC, First Data Corporation and Legg Mason, Inc.

Tagar Olson

Tagar C. Olson has served as a Director of Capmark Financial Group Inc. since March 2006. Mr. Olson is currently an executive of KKR, where he has been employed since 2002. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Olson was employed by Evercore Partners Inc., where he was involved in a number of private equity transactions and mergers and acquisitions. He is currently a director of Visant Corporation, KSL Holdings, First Data Corporation and Masonite International Corporation.

Alberto Sanchez

Mr. Alberto Sanchez is Director of the company. He was elected by Bluestem Group's Series A Preferred stockholders to join the Board of Directors effective February 24, 2016. Mr. Sanchez replaces Brian Libman who had served the company since December 2014 and recently resigned from the Board in order to devote additional time and resources to his other professional endeavors. Mr. Sanchez, worked at Grupo Santander from 1997 until 2015. For the last 10 years he was the bank's Head of Investment Strategy for the Americas and became Vice-Chairman of Santander Consumer USA, Board member of Santander Holdings USA, Santander Bank N.A. (formerly Sovereign Bank), and Santander Investment Securities. From 1997 to 2005 he ran the Southern European Equities Research team and later the Latin America Equities Division.

Rajinder Singh

Rajinder Singh has served as a Director of Capmark Financial Group Inc. since July 2008. Mr. Singh has served as the Chief Credit Risk Officer for GMAC Financial Services since May 2008. Previously, Mr. Singh was the head of Global Analytics Services for Genpact from August 2007 to May 2008 and Chief Risk Officer—Americas for GE Consumer Finance from May 2003 to July 2007.

Alexander Smith

Mr. Alexander W. Smith is Director of the Company. Mr. Smith, most recently served as the President and CEO of Pier 1 Imports, Inc., a specialty retailer offering a wide variety of decorative accessories, furniture, candles, housewares, gifts and seasonal products, from February 2007 through December 2016. Prior to joining Pier 1 Imports, Mr. Smith served as Group President of the TJX Companies, Inc., where he oversaw the operations and development of Home Goods, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, plus a number of corporate functions. He was instrumental in the development of the TK Maxx stores in Great Britain and ran its international operations. Mr. Smith currently serves on the board of directors of Vitamin Shoppe, Inc., and he previously served on the boards of directors of Papa John's International, Inc., Pier 1 Imports, Inc. and Tumi Holdings, Inc. Mr. Smith received his Bachelor's degree from the University of East Anglia.
