Name Description

Kenneth Loeb

Mr. Kenneth J. Loeb is Independent Chairman of the Board of Calian Technologies Ltd. Mr. Kenneth Loeb is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School and maintained a private law practice for ten years. He is currently Chief Executive Officer of Loeb Packaging Ltd. and deals on a daily basis with accounting issues including issues related to internal controls and financial reporting. Mr. Loeb is also a director of three private companies whose aggregate annual gross revenues exceed $55 million.

Kevin Ford

Mr. Kevin Ford is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Company. He was Vice President, General Manager - Business and Technology Services Division of Calian Technologies Ltd. His background is complementary to the business of BTS and he brings with him over 28 years of experience in the domain of Information Technology and Information Management. He possesses an understanding of the Federal public sector and has related in business development, client management and project management. Most recently, Kevin was a public sector Partner with IBM Global Business Services located in Ottawa. In his role as an executive within IBM, he was responsible for delivery and business development for a portfolio of clients including National Defence, Defence Industries, Immigration and Coast Guard.

Jacqueline Gauthier

Ms. Jacqueline Gauthier is Chief Financial Officer, Vice President, Corporate Secretary of Calian Technologies Ltd. She joined Calian in October 2000 as Corporate Controller and was promoted to VP Finance in April 2001. Previously, She worked at both Domtar and E.B. Eddy Forest Products in senior accounting roles. Her focus is to ensure the finance organization contributes to the company's success by providing support to each business unit, working in partnership with them to maximize on existing opportunities. She is a Chartered Accountant, having graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from Université du Québec à Hull.

Lynn Stevens

Ms. Lynn Stevens is Chief Human Resources Officer of the Company. At the heart of Calian's long-term growth is its employees. Lynn, working with the HR team, is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of Calian's overall business plans and strategic direction. Lynn will leverage best practices in the development of Calian employees while providing a focal point for the integration of employees from future acquisitions. Her strong strategic leadership will support the communication of HR needs and plans to the executive leadership team and the translation of those needs into specific actions, with positive impacts for Calian team members. Prior to Lynn's appointment as Chief Human Resources Officer, she was BTS division Vice President of Human Resources.

Jerry Johnston

Mr. Jerry Patrick Johnston has been appointed Chief Information Officer of the Company effective February 7, 2018. Jerry has over 35 years of experience in management at Calian and other high-tech companies in the Ottawa region. Since joining Calian in 1992, he has held a number of leadership positions, including Director of Engineering, Vice President, Outsourcing, Vice President, Operations and Vice President, Training. Each of these roles required a focus on performance excellence, customer satisfaction, and service offering evolution. As CIO, Jerry will bring this same focus to Calian Group Ltd. by appropriately integrating enterprise risk management, process management and information technology. These enablers will allow Calian to achieve growth targets while maintaining its reputation for delivery excellence.

Patrick Thera

Mr. Patrick Thera serves as Vice President and General Manager - Systems Engineering Division of Calian Technologies Ltd. He was Vice-President Operations with the Systems Engineering Division until December 31, 2011.

Donald Whitty

Mr. Donald Whitty is Vice President -Training of the Company. Don is a Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP) with a passion for learning and development. He brings learning industry expertise from the national and international levels and has the business acumen required to achieve growth targets. Don joins Calian with broad experience and understands the learning and development landscape beyond the company's current markets. He has run programs for pharma, technology, telecom and oil and gas, and has large private enterprise experience having worked on the learning programs of many Fortune 500 clients. Throughout his career, Don has undertaken visiting faculty engagements at universities in Canada, the United States and Ireland, and has conducted research on next-generation learning approaches including gamification, augmented reality and multimedia. Don was CEO of Mosaic Technologies before serving as Director of Information and Knowledge Management for Suncor Energy from 2009 to 2015, and then Chief Learning Strategist for Tata Interactive Systems until the end of 2017.

Raymond Basler

Mr. Raymond Basler is Director of Company. He is no longer serves as President, Chief Executive Officer of Calian Technologies Ltd., effective March 31, 2015. He is a Chartered Accountant, educated at the University of Saskatchewan. Raymond Basler was President of the Corporation’s Systems Engineering division until September 30, 2004 and was the Corporation’s Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer from September 28, 2001 to August 5, 2002. From August 6, 2002 to February 2, 2005, Mr. Basler was President and Chief Operating Officer of the Corporation.

Young Park

Ms. Young Park is Director of the Company. Ms. Park is an accomplished C-level executive who provides a unique combination of extensive business and technology transformations, corporate governance, and risk management experience. With more than 30 years of experience in FinTech, Insurance, Telecommunications, and public sectors, Ms. Park has provided executive leadership and consulting on go-to-market strategy, new products and services development resulting in revenue growth. She has also led organizational and business transformation, technology transformation including digitalization, innovation, enterprise and IT risk management, business continuity planning, large complex operations management including global delivery, and P&L management. Ms. Park received her Bachelor of Mathematics (Computer Science) from the University of Waterloo in May 1985. She is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) and earned her ICD.D designation in 2015. Ms. Park is also active in the community serving as a longtime member of non-for-profit boards that include a focus on skilled immigrant employment, mentoring and coaching all levels of professionals including senior executives, healthcare, and community well-being.

Jo-Anne Poirier

Ms. Jo-Anne Poirier has been appointed as Director of the company. effective April 1, 2016. She has more than 35 years of executive leadership, including director of finance and administration of the Regional Municipality of Ottawa-Carleton (1982 to 1993); deputy city manager, Corporation of the City of Gloucester (1993 to 2000); first vice-president, business development, MBNA Canada Bank (2000 to 2003); chief executive officer, government of Canada workplace charitable campaign, United Way (2003 to 2008); and chief executive officer of Ottawa Community Housing (2008 to 2013). Ms. Poirier is currently the president and chief executive officer of the Victorian Order of Nurses (VON) Canada (2014 to present). Ms. Poirier received her bachelor of arts from the University of Ottawa (1975 to 1978) and also has a certificate in business administration from the University of Ottawa (1979 to 1985). Ms. Poirier also has a graduate diploma in public management at Carleton University (2012 to 2014). She is passionate about being a lifelong learner.

William Hewson

Maj. Gen. (Retd.). William Hewson is Independent Director of Calian Technologies Ltd. He holds engineering degrees from the Royal Military College and the University of Toronto. In his military and public service careers he has held a variety of positions with operational responsibility for sizeable budgets. He is also a director of a private entity.

David Tkachuk

Senator David Tkachuk is Independent Director of Calian Technologies Ltd. He has many years of private business experience. From 1975 to 1979, Senator Tkachuk was Executive Director of the Progressive Conservative Party of Saskatchewan, in which one of his duties was managing the financial affairs and financial reporting of the party to its membership and to the government of Saskatchewan. From 1994 to 1997, Senator Tkachuk was Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee and, from 1997 to 2004, Vice-Chairman of the Senate Committee on Banking, Trade and Commerce. From 2001 to 2004, Senator Tkachuk was the chairman of the audit committee and a member of the board of directors of Blackstrap Hospitality Corporation, a company publicly traded until June 2, 2005.

Richard Vickers

Mr. Richard A. Vickers, FCA, is Independent Director of Calian Technologies Ltd. He is an FCA with over 40 years of experience in the financial field. Prior to his recent position with Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, Mr. Vickers worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP from 1965 to 1998, including as an audit partner from 1973 to 1998. Mr. Vickers holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carleton University.

George Weber

Mr. George Weber serves as Independent Director of Calian Technologies Ltd. Mr. Weber offers more than 35 years of executive leadership including, Canadian Red Cross Society (1973 - 1992) culminating in the position of Secretary General and CEO, Secretary General and CEO of the International Federation of Red Cross / Red Crescent Societies (1992 - 2000), National Executive Director and CEO of the Canadian Dental Association (2000 - 2007). He is now the President and Chief Executive Officer of The Royal Ottawa Health Care Group. Mr. Weber received his Education and Master of Arts degrees from McGill University in 1970/74 and has attended the Harvard Advanced Management Program. Mr. Weber is also a Certified Director with the Institute of Corporate Directors in Canada.
