Name Description

Emma Marcegaglia

Ms. Emma Marcegaglia serves as Non-Executive Independent Chairman of the Board at Eni S.p.A. since May 8, 2014. She is President of Businesseurope and Luiss Guido Carli University, Deputy Chairman and CEO of Marcegaglia SpA, Member of the Board of Directors of Bracco SpA, Italcementi SpA and Gabetti Property Solutions SpA. She is Chairman of Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei, appointed in November 2014. From May 2008 to May 2012, she was President of Confindustria. She was also a Member of the Management Board of Banco Popolare and Director of FinecoBank SpA. From May 2004 to May 2008 she was appointed as Deputy Vice President of Confindustria for infrastructures, energy, transport and environment, also acting as the Italian Representative for the High Level Group established by the European Commission for energy, competitiveness and environment. From 2000 to 2002, she was Vice President of Confindustria for Europe; from 1996 to 2000 President of the Young Italian Entrepreneurs Association of Confindustria; from 1997 to 2000 President of the European Confederation of the Young Entrepreneurs (YES) and from 1994 to 1996 she was National Vice President of the Young Italian Entrepreneurs Association of Confindustria. Claudio Descalzi

Mr. Claudio Descalzi serves as Chief Executive Officer, General Manager, Director at Eni S.p.A. He was Chief Operating Officer for Exploration and Production Division and Director of Eni S.p.A. since July 30, 2008 to 2014. He continued his studies with specialist courses in Petroleum Engineering in France and the United States. He joined the Company's group in 1981 as Manager of oil and gas field petroleum engineering and project, following the development of North Sea, Libya, Nigeria, and Congo fields. In 1990, he was appointed Head of Operational Activities for Italy. In 1994, he was named Director of Agip Recherches Congo, with responsibility for all local upstream operations, and in 1998 he became Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Naoc, a Company's subsidiary in Nigeria. From 2000 to 2001, he was Regional Manager for Africa, Middle East and China at the Agip Division, where in 2002 he was appointed Country Manager for Italy. From 2002 to 2005, he was Regional Manager for Italy, Africa, Middle East at the Eni Exploration & Production Division, and in 2006 he was appointed as Deputy General Manager of the ENI SpA's Exploration and Production Division. Since 2006, he has been Chairman of Assomineraria. He is Vice President of Confindustria Energy. He graduated in Physics in 1979 from Universita degli Studi di Milano.

Massimo Mondazzi

Mr. Massimo Mondazzi serves as Chief Financial and Risk Management Officer of Eni S.p.A. since July 1, 2014. He is Chief Financial Officer at the firm since December 5, 2012. He joined Eni in 1992 after a number positions in industrial companies and as a management consultant. He worked in the Administration and Control area of the Exploration and Production division until 2006, where he reached the level of Director. From 2006 to 2009 he was Director of Planning and Control for the Eni group, before returning to E&P as Executive Vice President for the Central Asia, Far East and Pacific Region business areas. In this role he contributed to the consolidation of Eni’s activities in the Exploration and Production division, to the launch of new development projects and to Eni’s entry into new countries. Alessandro Puliti

Mr. Alessandro Puliti is the Chief Development, Operations & Technology Officer of the company. In 1990 he was hired by Agip spa in the Department of Reserves as a Reservoir Geologist to deal with the study of deposits in Africa and Italy. In 1998, he began an international career path moving to Aberdeen to hold the position Assistant Operated Asset Manager of Agip UK where he gained operational experience in complex environments. After returning to Italy in 2002, he became Field Manager and Pozzo Area in the Val D'Agri project. In 2003 he moved to Egypt as Development and Operations Manager of IEOC and then held increasingly complex managerial roles first as General Manager and Managing Director of Petrobel and then as General Manager of IEOC. In 2009 he returned to Italy to take on the role of Vice President for the management coordination of Northern Europe and Russia. In 2010, he moved to Stavanger holding the dual role of Managing Director of Eni Norge and management coordination in Northern Europe and Russia. In 2012 he returned to Italy in the Operations Department initially as Senior Vice President of Petroleum Engineering, Production and Maintenance and then as Senior Vice President of Drilling and Completion and Deputy Operations. In October 2015 he was appointed Executive Vice President of the Reservoir & Development Projects Department. He graduated with honors in Geology from the University of Milan and obtained the MEDEA Master in Economics of Energy and the Environment at the Scuola Mattei. Roberto Ulissi

Mr. Roberto Ulissi serves as Senior Executive Vice President Corporate Affairs and Governance, Company Secretary, Corporate Governance Counsel at Eni S.p.A. since 2014. After a few years as a lawyer for the Bank of Italy, in 1998 he was appointed General Manager at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, responsible for the Banking and Financial System and Legal Affairs Department. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of Telecom Italia (and chairman of the Audit Committee), Ferrovie dello Stato, Alitalia, Fincantieri and a government representative in the Board of the Bank of Italy. Francesco Gattei

Luca Cosentino

Mr. Luca Cosentino serves as Executive Vice President of Energy Solutions at Eni S.p.A. since November 1, 2015. He joined Eni in 1986. In the early years of his career, he worked in the modeling group within the Deposit Department. Between 1992 and 1996 he held various positions at operational offices in Italy and abroad, also in the oil fields. Between 1996 and 2003 he worked with the French Petroleum Institute (IFP, France), in Venezuela and in the Persian Gulf countries. During this period he taught at the School of VET and published several articles and technical papers, including the book Integrated Reservoir Studies. Luca Franceschini

Mr. Luca Franceschini serves as Executive Vice President - Integrated Compliance at Eni S.P.A. He joined Eni in 1991 in the Agip SpA legal office, initially dealing with litigation and legal assistance in procurement activities , and then devoted himself over the years to legal support for several national and international projects in the Exploration & Production sector. In 2000, as part of the process of liberalization of the natural gas sector, he was involved in the separation of gas storage activities and the establishment and start-up of Sogit SpA, where he became responsible for Legal and Corporate Affairs. In 2005 he returned to Eni SpA as head of the Italian Legal Assistance of the Gas & Power Division. Following the centralization of the legal functions in Eni's Central Legal Department, he takes care of legal regulation and antitrust assistance, gradually widening his areas of responsibility and becoming in 2009 responsible for the Business and Antitrust Legal Assistance as well as legal reference for the legal assistance to the activities of the Refining & Marketing sector. Marco Petracchini

Mr. Marco Petracchini serves as Senior Executive Vice President of Internal Audit at Eni S.p.A. He also serves as Member of the Supervisory Body of the Company. After graduation, he was hired by Esso Italiana where he held a number of positions in the IT, Finance and Auditing sectors. He joined Eni in 1999, where he was promoted in the Internal Auditing Department. Currently is Senior Executive Vice President of the Internal Auditing Department and supervisor of the Internal Control function. He is also a Member of the Control Body and Secretary of the Audit Committee of Eni SpA. Jadran Trevisan

Mr. Jadran Trevisan serves as Executive Vice President - Integrated Risk Management at Eni S.P.A. since September 12, 2016. After an experience in Gabetti, in 1991 he joined the Fininvest Group, taking care of financial communication and collaborates in the Mediaset listing project of which, in 1995, he became an Investor Relations Manager. In 2000 he was hired by Eni as Head of Investor Relations where, in addition to taking part in important extraordinary transactions (listing Snam Rete Gas, de-listing Italgas), he guaranteed the management of relations with institutional investors. Marco Bollini

Mr. Marco Bollini serves as Senior Vice President - Legal Affairs at Eni S.P.A. After graduation, he practiced for a few years the legal profession in a law firm in Milan. He joined Eni in 1997 in the legal department of Agip S.p.A., dealing mainly with international legal projects until 2001 assumes the responsibility of legal assistance of the Overseas Exploration & Production Division. In 2005 he was appointed General Counsel of the Gas & Power further diversifying the business knowledge. Since 2007, he returns to the Exploration & Production Division as General Counsel. Following the centralization of the legal aspects of Eni's Legal Central Directorate assumes in 2008 the provision of legal liability to non-European activities of the company. Giuseppe Ricci

Mr. Giuseppe Ricci serves as Chief Refining & Marketing Officer at Eni S.P.A. since September 12, 2016. In 1985 he joined Eni; he began working on the study and development of new refining processes at the Sannazzaro Refinery, and then took part in the establishment and consolidation of the joint venture with Kuwait Petroleum at the Milazzo Refinery. In 2000 he returned to the head office as Head of Development for Refining Processes to follow the optimization of the plant performance of the Agip Petroli refineries. From the central technologies it passes to assume in 2004 the Direction of the Gela Refinery, a particularly challenging task from the managerial point of view both for the refining cycle and for the high management complexity; in 2006 he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Refinery. Since June 2010 he has held the position of Senior Vice President of the Industrial Sector of Refining & Marketing with responsibility for refineries, depots, oil pipelines and factories in Italy as well as the management of subsidiaries and affiliates in Italy and abroad. Marco Bardazzi

Mr. Marco Bardazzi serves as Executive Vice President of External Communication at Eni S.p.A. A professional journalist, before joining Eni in 2015 he has worked in the media business for 28 years. He has achieved an extensive experience on foreign policy and digital communications, particularly on the European and American realities (He has lived and worked in the United States for nine years). Between 2009 and 2015, he has been Managing Editor and Digital Editor at "La Stampa", a leading European newspaper based in Turin, Italy. He has been a key member of the team that has worked on the transformation of a traditional newspaper founded in 1867 in an integrated digital news organization, creating an innovative "concentric circles" multiplatform newsroom. He has also been a co-founder of the "Europa" partnership between La Stampa, Le Monde, El País, The Guardian, Gazeta Wyborcza and Suddeutsche Zeitung. Before joining "La Stampa", he was U.S. Correspondent for the Italian news agency ANSA, covering every aspect of the American life for the Italian media. Among other things, he has covered the 2000 Bush-Gore electoral race for the White House; the first international Al Qaeda trial in Manhattan; the September 11, 2001 attack on America; the war in Afghanistan; the war in Iraq; the 2004 and 2008 presidential campaigns. He has visited and reported on the Guantanamo detention camp at U.S. Navy Guantanamo Bay base, Cuba. He has covered the 2008 financial crisis, and he has extensively reported on the American digital, energy and manufacturing businesses. His latest book is "L'Ultima Notizia" (with Massimo Gaggi, Rizzoli 2010), an essay on digital transformation in the media business.

Luca Bertelli

Mr. Luca Bertelli serves as Chief Exploration Officer at Eni S.p.A. since July 1, 2014. In 1984 he became part of Eni's geophysics division where he worked first as a researcher for the development of 3D simulation prospecting technologies and then Manager of 3D seismic prospecting programs, specializing also in seismic-stratigraphy. In 1994 he became Manager of seismic-stratigraphic applications. In 1999 he expanded the technical-managerial sphere of the activity becoming Eni's Geological and Geophysical Services Manager. At the end of 2001 his professional growth continued with an international career path that led him to cover increasingly complex roles from a managerial point of view over eight years, starting with that of Technical Director and Deputy Managing Director at the Norsk Agip in Norway. In 2003 he was appointed Managing Director of Eni Indonesia and in 2006 he moved to Egypt as General Manager and Managing Director, a position he also holds for Eni Angola in 2007. In 2009 he returned to Eni where he took up the position of Senior Vice President Global Exploration. Claudio Granata

Massimo Mantovani

Mr. Massimo Mantovani serves as Chief Midstream Gas & Power Officer at Eni S.P.A. since October 17, 2016. Lapo Pistelli

Mr. Lapo Pistelli is the International Relations Director of the company. After graduating with honors in International Law in 1988 at the Faculty of Political Science "Cesare Alfieri" of Florence, he worked in a Study Center and held two administrative mandates in the City of Florence. From 1996 to 2015 he was a member of the Italian Parliament (1996/2004 and 2008/2015) and European Parliament (2004/2008). Antonio Vella

Mr. Antonio Vella serves as Chief Upstream Officer at Eni S.p.A. since July 1, 2014. In 1983 he joined the Eni group. Mr. Domenico Livio Trombone is the Director of the company. Fabrizio Pagani

Mr. Fabrizio Pagani serves as Non-Executive Director at Eni S.p.A. since May 9, 2014. He was Deputy Director of the International Training Program for Conflict Management at the Scuola Superiore S. Anna of Pisa from 1995 to 1998, Professor of International Law at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Pisa from 1993 to 2001, Vice-Head of the Office Legislative in the Department of Community Policies from 1998 to 1999 and Counselor for International Affairs of the Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade from 1999 to 2001. He was Senior Advisor at the OECD from 2002 to 2006, Head of the Technical Secretariat of the Undersecretary of State to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers from 2006 to 2008, member of the Board of Directors of SACE, SACE SpA Group, from 2007 to 2008, Director OECD Secretary General from 2009 to 2011, Director of the OECD G8 / G20 Office from 2011 to 2013 and Council President and Sherpa G20 Economic Councilor from 2013 to 2014. He was NATO Fellow. He was a visiting scholar at Columbia University, New York. He graduated in International Studies at the Sant'Anna School of Pisa and obtained a Master's degree from the European University Institute, Florence.

Alessandro Profumo

Mr. Alessandro Profumo was Independent Director at Eni S.p.A. since July 29, 2015. He was Non-Executive Independent Director of Eni SpA from May 5, 2011 till May 8, 2014. He was Member of Compensation and Nominating Committees and Chairman of the Oil-Gas Energy Committee of the Company. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the Universita Commerciale Luigi Bocconi of Milan. He is currently Chairman of Appeal Strategy and Finance Srl and member of the Supervisory Board of Sberbank. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Bocconi University in Milan and of the Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro. He began his career in 1977 at the Banco Lariano, becoming Branch Manager in Milan. In 1987 he joined McKinsey where he was Project Manager in the strategy area for the finance sector. In 1989 he was appointed Head of relations with financial institutions and integrated development projects at Bain, Cuneo e Associati (now Bain & Company). In 1991 he left the field of company consultancy to join RAS, Riunione Adriatica di Sicurta, where he was in charge of as General Manager, for the banking and parabanking sectors. In 1994 he joined Credito Italiano as Joint Central Manager, responsible for Programming and Control, becoming General Manager in 1995. In 1997 he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Credito Italiano and subsequently of Unicredit, a position he held until September 2010. On an international level he was Chairman of the European Banking Federation and Chairman of the IMC Washington. In May 2004 he was decorated as Cavaliere del Lavoro.

Andrea Gemma

Mr. Andrea Gemma serves as Non-Executive Independent Director at Eni S.p.A. since May 8, 2014. He is a member of the strategic board of the American University of Rome. He is a cassation lawyer and holds the office of Chairman of Serenissima SGR SpA as well as a member of the Board of Directors of Banca UBAE SpA and of Global Capital PLC. He is Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors of PS Reti SpA and of Sirti SpA He is also Extraordinary Commissioner of Valtur SpA, Commissioner of Novit Assicurazioni SpA and of Sequoia Partecipazioni SpA.

Pietro Guindani

Mr. Pietro Angelo Guindani serves as Non-Executive Independent Director at Eni S.p.A. since May 9, 2014. From 1982 to 1986 he was Relationship Banker of Citibank N.A. Subsequently he became Director International Finance Department of Montedison SpA (Enimont SpA) until 1992. He was Group Finance, Budget and Reporting Manager of European Vinyls Corporation SA/NV (1992-1993). In 1993 he became International Finance Director of Olivetti SpA. From 1995 to 2004 he was Chief Financial Officer of Vodafone Italy and of Vodafone South Europe, Middle East & Africa Region. From 2004 to 2008 he was Chief Executive Officer of Vodafone Omnitel NV. Currently, he is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vodafone Omnitel B.V., Board Member of FINECOBank SpA, of Salini-Impregilo SpA and of the Italian Institute of Technology, President of the Bocconi University Alumni Association, Board Member of Civita Foundation, Assonime and Confindustria, Vice President for Universities, Innovation and Human Capital of Assolombarda. He was also Director of Pirelli & C. SpA (2011-2014), Carraro SpA (2009-2012) and Sorin SpA (2009-2012). He graduated in Business at the Universita Commerciale Luigi Bocconi of Milan.

Karina Litvack

Ms. Karina A. Litvack serves as Non-Executive Independent Director at Eni S.p.A. since May 9, 2014. From 1986 to 1988 she was a member of the PaineWebber Incorporated Financial-Corporate Team. From 1991 to 1993 he was Project Manager of New York City Economic Development Corporation. In 1998 he joined F & C Asset Management plc where he held the positions of Analyst Ethical Research, Director of Ethical Research and Director in charge of Governance and Sustainable Investments (2001-2012). She was also a member of the Board of Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (2003-2009) and a member of the Primary Markets Group of the London Stock Exchange Primary Markets Group (2006-2012). She graduated in Political Economy from the University of Toronto and in Finance and International Business at Columbia University Graduate School of Business.

Alessandro Lorenzi

Mr. Alessandro Lorenzi serves as Non-Executive Independent Director of Eni S.p.A. since May 5, 2011. He started his business in SAIAG SpA, in the Administration and Control area. In 1975 he joined Fiat Iveco SpA in which he held various positions: Controller of Fiat VI SpA, Director of Administration, Finance and Control, Head of Personnel of Orlandi SpA of Modena (1977-1980) and Project Manager (1981-1982) . In 1983 he joined the GFT Group as Director of Administration, Finance and Control of Cidat SpA, a subsidiary of GFT SpA (1983-1984), Central Controller of the GFT Group (1984-1988), Director of Finance and Control of the GFT Group ( 1989-1994) and Managing Director of GFT, with ordinary and extraordinary delegation on all operational activities (1994-1995). In 1995 he became CEO of SCI SpA managing the restructuring process. In 1998 he was appointed Central Director and later a Director of Ersel SIM SpA until June 2000. In 2000 he took on the role of Central Planning and Control Director in the Ferrero Group and General Manager of Soremartec, Ferrero Group's technical research and marketing company. In May 2003 he became CFO of the Coin Group. In 2006 he was Corporate Head of Lavazza SpA, of which he became a Board Member from 2008 to June 2011. From July 2011 to September 2017 he was Chairman of Società Metropolitana Acque Torino SpA.

Diva Moriani

Ms. Diva Moriani serves as Non-Executive Independent Director at Eni S.p.A. since May 9, 2014. He is currently Executive Vice President of Intek Group SpA, Deputy Chairman of KME AG, a German holding of the KME Group, a member of the Board of Directors of KME Srl, a member of the Supervisory Board of KME Germany GmbH and a member of the Board of Directors of Assicurazioni Generali SpA. Moncler SpA, Dynamo Academy, Dynamo Foundation and Dynamo Association. She was Chief Executive Officer of the I2Capital Partners Fund, a private equity fund promoted by Intek Group SpA, specialized in "special situation", from 2007 to 2012, Chief Executive Officer of KME AG from 2014 to 2017. She has a degree in Economics and Business from the University of Florence.
