James Herbert

Mr. James (Jim) H. Herbert, II, is a Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer of First Republic Bank. Mr. Herbert founded First Republic Bank as CEO in 1985. Previously, he was the Founding President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of San Francisco Bancorp from 1980-1985. Mr. Herbert is a trustee of Babson College, San Francisco Ballet Association (Chair and Co-Chair, 2002-2008) and Joyce Theater of New York. He is also a director of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, New York, and The BASIC Fund. Michael Roffler

Mr. Michael J. Roffler is Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President of First Republic Bank. Mr. Roffler joined First Republic in November 2009 as Deputy Chief Financial Officer and was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer on January 1, 2015. Michael Harrington

Mr. Michael J. (Mike) Harrington is Chairman of First Republic Trust Company subsidiary of the Bank. Mr. Harrington is Chairman of First Republic Trust Company, a position he assumed in 2016 after serving as President of First Republic Trust Company for over ten years. He came to First Republic in 2002 from Bank of America where he was the Regional Fiduciary Executive for Bank of America’s private bank. Prior to that, Mr. Harrington was a senior trust lawyer for Wells Fargo Bank in San Francisco and an estate planning and trust lawyer in Southern California. He earned a law degree from the UCLA School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1972 from UCLA.

Kelly Johnston

Ms. Kelly Johnston is President - First Republic Trust Company of the Company subsidiary of the Bank. Ms. Johnston has more than 20 years of experience, most recently with Mechanics Bank Wealth Management, in managing multigenerational family wealth and administering complex trust and estates and agency relationships. As part of her role, she specializes in collaborating with estate planning attorneys and certified public accountants to develop and implement innovative and tax-efficient strategies. Active in the San Francisco Estate Planning Community, she is a current board member of the San Francisco Estate Planning Council and is past president and board member of the East Bay Estate Planning Council. Kelly is board member and treasurer of the SEP Foundation. Ms. Johnston holds the professional designations of Certified Trust and Financial Advisor and Certified Wealth Strategist. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Saint Mary's College in Moraga, California. David Tateosian

Mr. David Tateosian is President - First Republic Securities Company subsidiary of the Company. He is President for First Republic Securities Company on the Private Wealth Management Executive Team and his leadership responsibilities also include First Republic’s Foreign Exchange and Insurance business lines. Prior to joining First Republic Securities Company in 2003, Mr. Tateosian held management positions at two brokerage firms - Boston-based Fidelity Investments and Bay Area Preferred Trade, Inc. Mr. Tateosian provides industry service as a FINRA Arbitrator. He served on the San Francisco SPCA Board of Directors from 2006 through 2015 and presently sits on its investment committee. Mr. Tateosian holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Vermont and is a graduate of the General Management Program at Harvard Business School.

Jason Bender

Mr. Jason C. Bender is Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer of First Republic Bank. Mr. Bender has been with First Republic since 1999, and managed the Bank’s finance department for over a decade before being appointed Chief Administrative Officer on January 1, 2013. Effective January 1, 2016, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for the overall operations of deposits and lending, strategic planning, enterprise data, online banking and related digital activities, and secondary loan marketing. Ms. Richardson oversees human resources, enterprise collaboration, facilities/administrative services, Eagle Lending and various bank-wide initiatives. Hafize Gaye Erkan

Dr. Hafize Gaye Erkan is Executive Vice President and Chief Deposit Officer and Chief Investment Officer of the Company. Ms. Erkan joined First Republic in 2014 as Chief Investment Officer and Co-Chief Risk Officer and was appointed Chief Deposit Officer effective January 1, 2016. She is responsible for managing the Bank’s investment portfolio and oversees the Bank’s deposit gathering franchise. Additionally, Ms. Erkan oversees banking activities in the New York and Boston regions. Prior to First Republic, she worked for Goldman Sachs where she was the Managing Director and Head of Financial Institutions Group Strats. Dale Smith

Mr. Dale A. Smith is Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer of the Company. He joined First Republic in 2000 and is responsible for Information Technology and Shared Services. Dianne Snedaker

Ms. Dianne Snedaker is a Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer of First Republic Bank. She joined First Republic in 2001 and, as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, is responsible for all marketing, branding and communications for the Bank and its wealth management entities. Ms. Snedaker has 30 years of experience in management and marketing, including a long-term position as President of Ketchum Advertising in San Francisco. Mr. Edward J. Dobranski is Executive Vice President, General Counsel, Secretary of First Republic Bank. He joined First Republic in 1992 as General Counsel. Previously, he practiced banking, real estate and corporate law for more than 30 years in positions with the federal government and in private practice, as well as through work as a Corporate Counsel. David Lichtman

Mr. David B. Lichtman is Chief Credit Officer, Executive Vice President of First Republic Bank. Michael Selfridge

Robert Thornton

Mr. Thornton joined First Republic in 2004 and currently serves as President of First Republic Investment Management and President of First Republic Private Wealth Management. He became Executive Vice President of First Republic Bank in 2015 and oversees banking activities for the Los Angeles and Palm Beach regions. Bill Ward

Mr. Bill Ward is Executive Vice President, Chief BSA/AML and Security Officer of the Company. He joined First Republic in 2014 as Executive Vice President – Chief BSA/AML and Security Officer. He has over 30 years combined experience in law enforcement, corporate security, investigations, fraud prevention and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance, Economic Sanctions and Foreign Corruption. Previously, he was President of the International Rescue Committee and a senior executive at AT&T. He is currently a consultant to nonprofits and individual benefactors. Thomas Barrack

Mr. Thomas J. Barrack, Jr. is Independent Director of First Republic Bank. Mr. Barrack is Executive Chairman of Colony NorthStar, Inc. He previously held the position of Founder and Executive Chairman of Colony Capital, Inc., the predecessor to Colony NorthStar. Dr. Sandra R. Hernandez, M.D. is Independent Director of First Republic Bank. Prior to joining CHCF, she was CEO of The San Francisco Foundation, which she led for 16 years.
