Name Description

Jonathan Awde

Mr. Jonathan T. Awde is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Gold Standard Ventures Corp. Mr. Awde is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Gold Standard and is the person primarily responsible for the implementation and execution of the Company’s business plan and operations. Mr. Awde is also the key individual responsible for negotiating and acquiring JKR’s interests in the Railroad and CVN Projects. Mr. Awde holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics and Finance) from Acadia University in Nova Scotia (1999) and is a former sales and trading professional at Wolverton Securities Inc. He serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Gold Standard, July 2010 to present; President and Chief Executive Officer of JKR, since incorporation; former President of Northern Star Mining Corp. (TSXV – NSM), Feb 23, 2010 to July 13, 2010; previously Vice-President (Corporate Development), Feb. 2003 to Feb 23, 2010.

Michael Waldkirch

Mr. Michael N. Waldkirch is Chief Financial Officer of Gold Standard Ventures Corp. He is a Certified General Accountant since 1998, Chief Financial Officer, Gold Standard Ventures Corp., July 2010 to present; former Chief Financial Officer, Northern Star Mining Corp. (TSX-V – NSM), Oct. 2008 to January 2011. Mr. Waldkirch holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of British Columbia and has been a Certified General Accountant since 1998. From 1997 to 2011, he held the position of principal with JBH Professional Services Inc., a business consulting firm located in Richmond, B.C., and Canada. Since 1999, Mr. Waldkirch has also held the position of Senior Partner with the Public Accounting firm Michael Waldkirch and Company Inc., Certified General Accountant, in Richmond, B.C.

Glenn Kumoi

Mr. Glenn Kumoi is Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary of the company. He is legal and administrative expertise at a time when the company is advancing its plans to begin defining the economics of its flagship Pinion-Railroad gold project in the Carlin Trend of Nevada. He is an executive leader who has extensive experience in the areas of financing, project development, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and legal compliance as an officer of three other public companies prior to his appointment to Gold Standard.

Zara Boldt

Ms. Zara E. Boldt is Director of the Company. Ms. Boldt is a professional accountant (CPA, CGA) with over fifteen years of progressively senior financial leadership roles with public companies in the mineral exploration and development industry. Most recently, Ms. Boldt served as Chief Financial Officer & Corporate Secretary of Kaminak Gold, where she was responsible for corporate due diligence and the negotiation, documentation and execution of a Plan of Arrangement for an acquisition transaction valued at C$520 million. Prior to Kaminak, Ms. Boldt served as the Vice-President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Stornoway Diamond Corporation where she was a member of the senior management team responsible for arranging financing in excess of $900 million for the development of the Renard Project in Quebec. Ms. Boldt is the Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary for Strongbow Exploration Inc.

D. Bruce McLeod

Dr. Bruce McLeod has been appointed as Director of the Company. Mr. McLeod is a mining engineer with over 30 years of experience in all areas of the mining industry. Most recently he was a director of Kaminak Gold Corp., which was acquired this year by Goldcorp Inc. for $520 million. Mr. McLeod is currently President and CEO of Sabina Gold & Silver Corp. Prior to that, he served in a senior capacity with a number of successful junior mining ventures including: President and CEO of Mercator Minerals Ltd.; President, CEO and director of Creston Moly Corp.; and founder of both Sherwood Copper Corp. and Stornoway Diamond Corp. He also served on the board of directors of Palmarejo Silver and Gold Corp. (acquired by Coeur D'Alene Mines for $1.2 billion) and Ariane Gold (acquired by Cambior Inc.), and has been involved in numerous projects at various stages of development while with the Northair Group. Mr. McLeod was the co-recipient of AME BC's E.A. Scholz award for excellence in mine development in 2009.

Alexander Morrison

Mr. Alexander G. Morrison, CPA., Mr. Morrison is a Chartered Professional Accountant with 30 years of mining industry experience. Mr. Morrison has held senior executive positions at a number of mining companies, including Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Franco Nevada Corporation (2007 to 2010). At Newmont Mining Corporation, Mr. Morrison was Vice President, Operations Services and Vice-President, Information Technology (2002 to 2007). Prior to that, Mr. Morrison was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of NovaGold Resources Inc., Vice President and Controller of Homestake Mining Company and held senior financial positions at Phelps Dodge Corporation and Stillwater Mining Company. Mr. Morrison began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP after obtaining his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Trinity Western University. Mr. Morrison currently sits on the Board of Directors of Detour Gold Corporation, Taseko Mines Ltd., Gold Resource Corp. and Pershing Gold Corporation.

Ronald Clayton

Mr. Ronald W. Clayton is Independent Director of the Company. Ron Clayton is currently the President, Chief Operating Officer and Director of Tahoe Resources Inc. Ron is a highly experienced mining executive. In his 37 years in the business, he has successfully guided companies through the mining company life cycle, including advanced stage exploration, development, construction and mining. On Ron Clayton's appointment, Jonathan Awde, CEO and Director of Gold Standard noted that Mr. Clayton further strengthens the Board's depth of expertise at a time when the Company is advancing its Dark Star and Pinion deposits toward a Preliminary Economic Assessment. " Ron understands the specific technical challenges Gold Standard now faces in its evolution. His specific experience with gold oxide, open pit development and mining operations in Nevada makes him a very valuable addition to our Board.

Robert McLeod

Mr. Robert J. McLeod is Independent Director of Gold Standard Ventures Corp. He has been Exploration geologist, March 2003 to present; Chief Executive Officer, Vice-President, Operations, and director, Full Metal Minerals Ltd., June 2003 to present. Mr. McLeod is professional geologist (March 2003) with a Masters of Science, Geology, from Queens University, Kingston, Ontario (1998) and a Bachelors of Science, Geology, from the University of British Columbia (1993). Mr. McLeod has been the Chief Executive Officer, Vice-President, Operations and a director of Full Metal Minerals Corp., a junior exploration company listed on the Exchange, since June 2003. He is also a director of Nuukfjord Gold Ltd. and Keegan Resources Ltd., both TSX listed companies, and formerly Vice-President, Exploration for Atna Resources Ltd. (February 2003 - February 2004), also listed on the TSX. From 2000 to 2003 Mr. McLeod was a Project Geologist for Miramar Mining Corp. and a Senior Geologist for Grayd Resource Corporation from 1998 to 2000.

Jamie Strauss

Mr. Jamie Strauss is Independent Director of Gold Standard Ventures Corp. Mr. Strauss is currently a Director of a boutique mining finance firm, Strauss Partners, based in London, England. He has worked as a stockbroker in the City of London for 25 years, specialising in the corporate resource arena, including a term as Managing Director of UK for BMO Capital Markets 2007-2009. He has raised in excess of $1bn in recent years for projects spanning the globe in both the energy and mineral world on behalf of institutions in North America, Australia and Europe. He has been a committee member of the Association of Mining Analysts for the last four years, and is a non-executive director of Wildhorse Energy Ltd. and Altius Minerals. Jamie was, until recently, a director of Extorre Gold Mines Ltd. until it was taken over by Yamana.

William Threlkeld

Mr. William E. Threlkeld is Independent Director of Gold Standard Ventures Corp. He is a Certified General Accountant since 1998, Chief Financial Officer, Gold Standard Ventures Corp., July 2010 to present; former Chief Financial Officer, Northern Star Mining Corp. (TSX-V – NSM), Oct. 2008 to January 2011. Since 2001, he has been a Senior Vice President of Seabridge Gold, Inc. where he is responsible for, among other things, designing and executing exploration and resource delineation programs. From 1997 to 2000, he was Vice-President, Exploration, for Greenstone Resources Ltd., responsible for resource delineation on three Central American gold deposits and development of an organization and strategy to identify new mineral investments. From 1991 to 1997, he was a Vice President and Exploration Manager at Placer Dome Inc. where he was responsible for its exploration activity and investment in South America. Mr. Threlkeld obtained a Master of Science in Economic Geology from the University of Western Ontario.
