Name Description

Donald Boone

Mr. Donald M. Boone serves as Chairman of the Board of the Company. He was President, Chief Executive Officer, Interim Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer of Jewett Cameron Trading Company Ltd. Mr. Boone was appointed President, CEO and Treasurer of the Company on July 9, 1987 and interim CFO on June 15, 2015. He has also served as President of MSI-Pro Company since 1996, President of Greenwood Products since 2009, President and Treasurer of Jewett-Cameron Seed Company since 2000, President and Treasurer of JC USA Inc. since September 1984, and President and Treasurer of Jewett-Cameron Company since September 2013. He has over 45 years of management experience and has been Chief Executive Officer of the Company since its beginning in 1987. Before this time, Mr. Boone had a varied work history which includes working for Sunrise Forest Products, Oregon Pacific Industries, and Tektronix.

Charles Hopewell

Mr. Charles Hopewell serves as President, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Interim Chief Financial Officer of the Company. His responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the Company and its subsidiaries. Mr. Hopewell has over 35 years of experience in senior management positions with manufacturing companies. In his past positions as COO or CEO, he has been involved in all organizational aspects, including sales and marketing, plant and equipment, personnel, and finance. Prior to his appointment with Jewett-Cameron, he served as CEO of Sunset Manufacturing Inc. from 2012 to 2016 and was Chief Operating Officer of Aluminite Corporation from 2006 to 2012. He received a degree in Finance from the University of Oregon and an MBA from Willamette University’s Atkinson School of Management. Mr. Hopewell has also worked extensively in local and statewide workforce policy and K-12 CTE education at a Board level, and continues his involvement with the Oregon Workforce Investment Board and the Oregon Talent Council.

Michael Nasser

Mr. Michael C. Nasser is Corporate Secretary of Jewett Cameron Trading Company Ltd. He has over 40 years of experience in sales and sales management and has worked in this capacity for the Company since its inception. Prior to this he worked for companies including Sunrise Forest Products and Oregon Pacific Industries. Mr. Nasser is a graduate of Portland State University.

Geoff Guilfoy

Mr. Geoff Guilfoy has been appointed as Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Guilfoy is a management consultant with over 20 years of experience. Prior to founding Lumen Leaders LLC in 2013, he was the partner in charge of the management consulting group at AKT LLP, a regional CPA and business consulting firm. He has a Bachelor of Science, Management (Accounting) from San Jose State University and an MBA from Willamette University. Since 1989, he has been an Executive Professor at Willamette University’s Atkinson Graduate School of Management teaching courses on management consulting, nonprofit management, and government. He also currently serves on the Board of Directors of Co-Serve International and is Chair of the Oregon State Treasury Audit Committee, and is a former National Board Member of the Institute of Management Consultants USA.

Sarah Johnson

Ms. Sarah Johnson serves as Independent Director of the company. Ms. Johnson is currently the Global Buying Manager at Columbia Sportswear of Portland, Oregon. Ms. Johnson has significant experience in supply chain management and best practices, including the planning and implementation of improvements to both the manufacturing and supply processes. Prior to being named Global Buying Manager, she was a Business Process Analyst and Senior Global Buyer at Columbia which included working with International vendors, principally in Asia and Canada. Ms. Johnson is a graduate of Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington.

Frank Magdlen

Mr.Frank G.Magdlen is Independent Director of Jewett Cameron Trading Company Ltd. He He has over 40 years of business experience during which he held various financial services positions specializing in investment banking, research on small capitalization companies and portfolio management. Mr. Magdlen has an MBA from University of Southern California, and an undergraduate degree from University of Portland. Mr. Magdlen is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
