Name Description

Kolawole Jamodu

Chf. Dr. Kolawole B. (Kola) Jamodu, CFR, has served as Independent Non-Executive Chairman of Nigerian Breweries Plc since January 1, 2008. Kola joined the Board of the Company as Non-Executive Director on March 1, 2006. He is a chartered accountant, chartered management accountant, an industrialist and a former Minister of Industry of the Federal Government of Nigeria. He was re-appointed as Chairman of PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc in 2014 after a previous stint as Chairman and Group Chief Executive of the PZ Group. He is a former Chairman of Universal Trust Bank Plc. He is the immediate past President of the Manufacturers’ Association of Nigeria (MAN) and sits on the Board of United Bank for Africa Plc. He was a member of the National Economic Management Team headed by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He holds a degree from Harvard Business School.

Jordi Borrut Bel

Mr. Jordi Borrut Bel has served as Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Member of the Executive Committee, Executive Director of Nigerian Breweries Plc since January 22, 2018. Borrut Bel is currently the Managing Director of Heineken's subsidiary in Burundi, Brarudi S.A. and a board member of Bralirwa Limited, Rwanda, also a Heineken subsidiary in Rwanda. Borrut Bel joined Heineken Spain in 1997 as Sales Representative and subsequently held increasingly senior management positions in different countries, first as Distribution Project Manager in Slovakia, Brand Manager in France and Trade Marketing Manager at the Head Office in The Netherlands. In 2006, he returned to Heineken Spain where he evolved in the organization and eventually became the On-Premise and Distribution Director and a member of the management team. Borrut Bel was appointed the Managing Director of Brarudi S.A. in 2015 and has successfully led the company through a very turbulent period, strengthening the company's route-to-market and launching successful innovations.

Rob Kleinjan

Mr. Rob Kleinjan has served as Finance Director, Member of the Executive Committee, Executive Director of Nigerian Breweries Plc since July 28, 2018. Prior to his appointment to the Board, he was the Finance Director of the Brau Union Group, Austria (a Heineken subsidiary) which consists of four operating companies (Brau Union Austria, Brau Union Export, Villacher Brewery and Ammersin). He joined Heineken in 1996 as Controller, Cost Prices & Activity Based Costing and thereafter held senior management and directorate positions in finance, control and accounting functions in Heineken operating companies in Netherlands, Poland, Germany, Belgium and Finland.

Mr. Uaboi G. Agbebaku, Esq., has served as Company Secretary/Legal Director, Member of the Executive Committee of Nigerian Breweries Plc since January 1, 2008. He served as General Counsel within the Company between January 2003 and January 1, 2008. He also serves as Secretary to the Board’s Executive Committee. He joined the Company in January 2003. Before joining the Company, he was in private practice as Legal Practitioner with the law firm David Garrik & Co.

Uche Unigwe

Mr. Uche Unigwe has served as Sales Director, Member of the Executive Committee of Nigerian Breweries Plc since January 15, 2018. He joined the Company in 1989 as a Trainee Brewer. He is currently the General Manager, Heineken East Africa, based in Nairobi.

Mr. Oluseyi T. Bickersteth has served as Non-Executive Director of Nigerian Breweries Plc since January 1, 2019. Mr. Bickersteth, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) is a former Chairman of the KPMG Africa Practice and a former National Senior Partner of the Nigerian Practice. He is currently the Chairman of Andersen Tax, Africa and sits on the Board of other companies in Nigeria. Mr. Bickersteth chaired a working group on Nigerian Tax Reforms 2002 & Beyond for the Federal Government of Nigeria. He has also served on the working group on Nigeria's Vision 2020 as well as on the Technical Committee of the Federal Government of Nigeria that prepared the Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from University of Ibadan, and a Master of Science degree in Economics from York University.

Sijbe Hiemstra

Mr. Sijbe (Siep) Hiemstra has served as Non-Executive Director of Nigerian Breweries Plc since August 1, 2011. He started serving as Non-Executive Director of the Company after becoming the Heineken Regional President for Africa and Middle East. He started his carrier with Heineken in January 1978, holding commercial, general management and technical positions in different parts of Europe, Africa and Asia/Pacific. Until his current appointment, he was Heineken’s regional President for Asia Pacific. He is Member of the Governance Committee of the Company.

Mr. Atedo Nari Atowari Peterside, CON, has served as Non-Executive Director of Nigerian Breweries Plc since August 21, 2008. He is Founder and Chairman of Stanbic IBTC Bank PLC and the President and the Founder of ANAP Foundation. He was the Chairman of the Committee that crafted a corporate Governance Code for public companies in Nigeria. He is the Chairman of Cadbury Nigeria PLC and also sits o the Boards of flour Mills of Nigeria PLC, Presco PLC and Unilever Nigeria PLC. Atedo also serves as Chairman of the Governance Committee of the Company.

Roland Primez

Mr. Roland Jacques Marie Primez has served as Non-Executive Director of Nigerian Breweries Plc since September 1, 2015. He has an Engineering Degree in Agriculture (1983) from University of Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium and Masters Degree in Brewing (1984) from University of Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium. He has served the Heineken Group in different countries at different positions including being the Managing Director, Heineken Angola in 1995, General Manager, Thai Asia Pacific Brewery Co. Ltd, Thailand in 1998, Chief Executive Officer, HEINEKEN Russia in 2002, CEO Asia Pacific Breweries Ltd (now Heineken Asia Pacific Pte Ltd) in 2008, President, Asia Pacific and Chief Executive Officer APB in 2013 and he is currently the President, Africa Middle East and Eastern Europe, Heineken NV (2015). He is Chairman of the Risk Management Committee of the Company. Roland has served as Member of the Audit Committee of the Company since 2016. He is Chairman of the Risk Management and Ethics Committee of the Company.

Steven Siemer

Mr. Steven Lucien Marie Siemer has served as Non-Executive Director of Nigerian Breweries Plc since October 25, 2018. He is currently the Regional Finance Director of Africa, Middle East and Eastern Europe at Heineken N. V. Mr. Siemer joined the Heineken N.V. group in 1990 as Marketing Controller, Heineken Netherlands and has thereafter held senior management and directorate positions within the finance, control, accounting and marketing functions in Heineken operating companies in Spain. Austria. Ireland and The Netherlands. He holds a Masters degree in Business Economics from University of Groningen, and a degree from Rijksuniversiteit Groningen.

Adeyinka Aroyewun

Mrs. Adeyinka O. Aroyewun has served as Independent Non-Executive Director of Nigerian Breweries Plc since January 1, 2019. She is a lawyer and an internationally accredited mediator of the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR), UK and is currently the Director of the Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse. She is an experienced trainer in Alternative Dispute Resolution techniques for members of the Bar, the Bench and the general public. Mrs. Aroyewun is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK, the Negotiation and Conflict Management Group and the Nigerian Bar Association, amongst other professional associations and bodies.

Ndidi Nwuneli

Mrs. Ndidi O. Nwuneli, MFR, has served as Independent Non-Executive Director of Nigerian Breweries Plc since December 5, 2014. She is the Founder of LEAP Africa, Co-Founder of AACE Food Processing & Distribution, an agro processing company, and a partner at Sahel Capital, an advisory and private equity firm focused on the agribusiness sector in West Africa. She has 19 years of experience in international development and has worked and lived in West Africa, North America and the Middle East. She started her career as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, working in their Chicago, New York and Johannesburg Offices. In 2000, she returned to Nigeria to serve as the pioneer executive director of the FATE Foundation, a leading entrepreneurship development organization. She established LEAP Africa and NIA in 2002 and 2003 respectively. LEAP is a respected leadership development organization that has worked across Nigeria providing leadership training, and coaching to thousands of entrepreneurs, youth, teachers and community organizers. LEAP has also pioneered curriculum and published ten books on succession, ethics, governance and management. NIA empowers female university students in the Southeastern Nigeria to achieve their highest potential. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School (Class of 1999) and an undergraduate degree with honors in Multinational and Strategic Management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She was recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and received a National Honor - Member of the Federal Republic from the Nigerian Government. In 2011, she was listed as one of the 20 Youngest Power African Women by Forbes. In 2013, she was honored by the Global Fund for Women during their 25th Anniversary Celebration in San Francisco. She serves on numerous international and local boards including Nestle Nigeria, Cornerstone Insurance and USAID's Advisory Committee on Voluntary Foreign Aid. She is Member of the Governance Committee of the Company.

Ifueko Okauru

Mrs. Ifueko Marina Omoigui Okauru, MFR, has served as Independent Non-Executive Director of Nigerian Breweries Plc since February 20, 2013. She has over three decades of work experience. In 2004, she became Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service. She also serves as Managing Partner of Compliance Professionals Plc, a consultancy company. Mrs. Omoigui Okauru was also a member of the National Economic Management Team headed by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. She is currently the Managing Partner of Compliance Professionals Plc, a consultancy company and also sits on the Boards of Central Securities Clearing System Plc, ReStraL Ltd. and Seplat Petroleum Development Company Plc. She is a Commissioner of a non-partisan body, the Independent Commission for the Reform of International Corporate Taxation (ICRICT) and Chairman of the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund. She received a Master of Science degree in Management Science from the Imperial College, London, and a degree from the University of Lagos. Ifueko is Member of the Risk Management and Ethics Committee, and Member of the Audit Committee of the Company.
