Name Description

Urbano Cairo

Mr. Urbano R. Cairo has acted as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer of RIZZOLI CORRIERE DELLA SERA MEDIAGROUP SPA since March 10, 2016. Mr. Cairo graduated from Universita Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan with a degree in Business and Economics. He began his career in 1981 at the Fininvest Group, which was followed by a position at Publitalia ’80 where he became Deputy Director General. In 1991, he accepted the role of Chief Executive Officer at Mondadori Pubblicità. In 1995, he founded Cairo Pubblicità S.p.A. In 1997, he expanded the Group’s structure with the launch of Cairo Due S.p.A. In 1998, Mr Cairo continued to expand, setting up Cairo TV S.p.A. (following the acquisition of 100% of Tele+ Pubblicità from the Tele+ Group), a broker dedicated to analogue and digital pay TV that in just three years tripled its pre-acquisition turnover. In 1999, he acquired all of the shares of Editoriale Giorgio Mondadori. In 2000 he purchased Il Trovatore, an internet search engine with proprietary technology able to offer content and advanced services appreciated by users. In July 2000, Cairo Communication was listed on the Italian stock exchange. In 2002, he signed an exclusive multi-year contract for advertising sales on La7 through Cairo Communication. In 2003 he founded Cairo Editore. In 2005, he purchased 100% of Torino FC S.p.A. and became President of the club. In 2013, after lengthy negotiations, Mr Cairo purchased the television network La7 from Telecom and entered the television broadcasting industry. Urbano Cairo is a member of the Italian Federation of Newspaper Publishers (FIEG) Presidential Committee and of the Confindustria Radio Televisioni Board. He also sits on the Board of Directors of Lega Nazionale Professionisti Serie A.

Marco Pompignoli

Mr. Marco Pompignoli has acted as Executive Director of RIZZOLI CORRIERE DELLA SERA MEDIAGROUP SPA since August 3, 2016. He graduated in Economics at Universita Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in 1991. Also with the RCS Group, he was CEO of RCS Libri from 2010 to 2013, then Managing Director of the Newspapers Division. He obtained a degree in Business Administration from Universita Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in 1991. From 2005 to 2010 he was Managing Director of the Sole24Ore publishing house. From 1996 to 2005 – in the RCS Group – he held the roles of Marketing Manager of La Gazzetta dello Sport and of Corriere della Sera, Product Manager of the Newspapers division and, lastly, Managing Director of the Corriere della Sera business unit. In the past he held the role of Product Manager for The Walt Disney Company, in the Magazines Division, and then for RCS Newspapers.

Antonio Galiano

Mr. Antonio Fernandez Galiano served as Head of Unidad Editorial for RIZZOLI CORRIERE DELLA SERA MEDIAGROUP SPA. He is Executive Chairman and member of the Board of Directors of the Unidad Editorial S.A. Group. Holding a degree in Law from Complutense Madrid University, he is also Chairman of the “La Esfera de los Libros” publishing house, Chairman of the Arlanza s.a. publishing house, member of the Board of Directors of IFRA, member of the Management Board of AEDE, Chairman of the Technology and Internet Committee and member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of OJD. He was Chairman of the telecommunications operator Sky Point and a professor of Public Law at San Pablo-CEU University from 1983 to 1999. He previously worked for Banco Central in the financial sector for six years.

Andrea Liso

Mr. Andrea Liso has served as Director Procurement & Operations at Rizzoli Corriere della Sera Mediagroup S.p.A. since March 2016. He graduated in Economics at Universita Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan and he comes from GE Capital Interbanca S.p.A., where he entered in 2000 ad Organizational analyst covering various roles, since becoming Vice Director Resources, with Organization, IT, Sourcing, Facilities and Back Office portfolio. When Interbanca passed from Santander to General Electric, he focused his attention on strategic integration initiatives, organizational efficiency and outsourcing. He begun his career in 1996 in Bank of America as FX trader and, lately, he worked for IBM, PricewaterhouseCoopers and CartaSì, dealing mainly with Business Process Reengineering projects, organizational models and internal control systems.

Raimondo Zanaboni

Mr. Raimondo Zanaboni has served as Managing Director – Advertising and Communication Solutions of RIZZOLI CORRIERE DELLA SERA MEDIAGROUP SPA since February 2015. He has been Managing Director – Advertising of the RCS Group since October 2006. From September 2004 to September 2006 he was Managing Director of Consumer Magazines of Edizioni Condé Nast S.p.A., for which he was also a member of the Board of Directors. From 1993 to 2004 he worked for A. Manzoni & C. S.p.A., holding various positions, becoming the Head of the National Press Business Unit in 2000. He has worked for Mondadori Pubblicità, Publitalia and Leonardo Periodici.

Marilu Capparelli

Ms. Marilu Capparelli has served as Non-Executive Lead Director Independent Director at Rizzoli Corriere della Sera Mediagroup S.p.A. since October 3, 2016. She is Chairman of the Remuneration and Nominating Committees of the Company. Ms. Marilu Capparelli has been the legal director of google since 2009. She directs a team of lawyers who work in different European countries and reports directly to the international central legal department. Before Google, Ms. Capparelli was director of legal and institutional affairs at ebay inc. and in previous years she worked for international law firms in Italy, Brussels, London and Washington DC where she dealt with commercial law, M & A, antitrust and international litigation. In Google, she deals principally with corporate affairs, industrial property law, media and web law, civil and criminal law, privacy, antitrust, regulatory issues and strategic agreements. She is fluent in English, French and Spanish and has a basic knowledge of German. She has won numerous important awards and international awards.

Gaetano Micciche

Mr. Gaetano Micciche has acted as Non-Executive Director of RIZZOLI CORRIERE DELLA SERA MEDIAGROUP SPA since September 26, 2016. Mr. Gaetano Miccichè graduated in Law and obtained an MBA from SDA Bocconi with a diploma in merit in 1984 and the Master of Masters awarded by SDA Bocconi - Master Alumni Association - in December 2008. He began his professional career in February 1971 at the Cassa Centrale di Risparmio of the Sicilian Provinces and later became the Head of Corporate Clients. In April 1989 he moved to Rodriquez SpA as Central Finance Director. In November 1992 he was appointed General Manager of Gerolimich-Unione Manifatture, a Group listed on the Italian Stock Exchange. In January 1996 he was appointed General Manager of Santa Valeria SpA, a group listed on the Italian Stock Exchange and in October 1997 he became Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Olcese SpA. He joined Banca Intesa in 2002 as head of Merchant Banking. A path that from February 2010 to April 2016 led him to become General Manager of Intesa Sanpaolo, and subsequently also a member of the Management Board until 2016. Head of the Corporate and Investment Banking Division of Intesa Sanpaolo from January 2007 to April 2016 and CEO of Banca IMI from October 2007 to March 2015. He is currently a member of the Board of the ABI (Italian Banking Association), and of the Scientific Committee of the Milan Polytechnic. On 31 May 2013 Gaetano Miccichè was named Cavaliere del Lavoro by the President of the Republic Giorgio Napolitano.

Stefano Simontacchi graduated from Economics after graduating from the Leo XIII Institute and Commerce with honors at the RIZZOLI CORRIERE DELLA SERA MEDIAGROUP SPA in 1995. Marco Provera

Mr. Marco Tronchetti Provera has acted as Non-Executive Independent Director of RIZZOLI CORRIERE DELLA SERA MEDIAGROUP SPA since September 26, 2016. He graduated in Economics and Commerce in 1971 at the Universita Commerciale L. Bocconi Milano. In the early '70s he began to collaborate in family business activities, where he developed in particular those related to the maritime transport sector. In 1986 he joined Pirelli. In 1992 he assumes operational laguide. From December 1996 to September 2001 he was President of "Il Sole 24 Ore" and from October 2001 to September 2005 Director of the "La Scala Theater". From September 2001 to September 2006 he held the position of President of Telecom Italia S.p.A .. Until the May 2013 he was President of Prelios S.p.A. He is currently Executive Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Pirelli & C. S.p.A. and President of Marco Tronchetti Provera & C. S.p.A., holding company of investments held by the same subsidiary through which indirectly, controls Camfin S.p.A. which in turn indirectly holds 22.4% of Pirelli & C. S.p.A. He is Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mediobanca - Banca di Credito Finanziario S.p.A. He is Honorary Co-Chair for the Italian part of the Council for Relations between Italy and the United States, of which he was Italian Co-President for 15 years, and is part of the Italian Group of the Trilateral Commission. It is also CoChairman of the Italy-China Business Forum. He is on the Board of Directors of Assonime and Assolombarda as well as on the Board of Directors and in the Board of Confindustria. He is a Director of the Universita Commerciale L. Bocconi Milano.
