Name Description

Alan Matthews

Mr. Alan Matthews is an Independent Chairman of the Board of the company. since July 2008. Mr. Matthews co-founded Rapid7 in July 2000 and was employed in various capacities at Rapid7 until October 2009, including as our Chief Executive Officer from April 2004 to July 2009. Previously, Mr. Matthews was a consultant to the investment banking group at Merrill Lynch, developed mortgage-backed securities software at First Boston, developed a computer graphics lab at HBO/Time Warner and served as a programmer and designer for the VM operating system at IBM from 1976 to 1979 in the United Kingdom.

Corey Thomas

Mr. Corey E. Thomas serves as President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of the company. since October 2012. From November 2008 to September 2012, Mr. Thomas held various other roles at Rapid7, including serving as Chief Operating Officer. From March 2007 to October 2008, Mr. Thomas served as Vice President of Marketing at Parallels, Inc., a virtualization technology company, and from June 2002 to February 2007, Mr. Thomas held various roles at Microsoft, including Group Project Manager of the Microsoft Server and Tools division, launching the worldwide availability of SQL Server 2005 and steering product planning for Microsoft’s data platform. Prior to that, he was a consultant at Deloitte Consulting from July 1998 to October 2000. Mr. Thomas received a B.E. in electrical engineering and computer science from Vanderbilt University and a M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Jeffrey Kalowski

Mr. Jeffrey A. Kalowski is Chief Financial Officer of the Company, with effect from January 9, 2017. Mr. Kalowski has served as the Chief Financial Officer of Imprivata, Inc., an IT security company since January 2007. Prior to Imprivata, Mr. Kalowski has also served as the Chief Financial Officer of ProfitLogic, Inc. and Torrent Systems. Mr. Kalowski holds a B.S. from Northeastern University.

Andrew Burton

Mr. Andrew F. Burton is Chief Operating Officer of the Company. He was Senior Vice President - IT Search of the Company. He joined the Company in October 2015 as its Senior Vice President, IT Search in connection with the Company’s acquisition of Logentries. Prior to that time, from July 2013 to October 2015, Mr. Burton served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Logentries. Prior to that time, Mr. Burton served as Senior Vice President, Products at LogMeIn, Inc., a provider of cloud-based remote connectivity solutions, from October 2011 to August 2013, after joining LogMeIn as Vice President, Products in October 2007. Mr. Burton received a B.S. in American Studies from Oregon State University, a Masters in Information Systems from University College, Dublin and an M.B.A. from Boston College.

Richard Moseley

Mr. Richard Moseley is Senior Vice President - International Sales of the Company, effective as of January 9, 2017. He is no longer Senior Vice President - Global Sales of the Company, effective as of January 9, 2017. From August 2013 to December 2014, Mr. Moseley served as our Vice President of International Sales. Prior to joining Rapid7, he was the Vice President, Data Protection for Europe, the Middle East and Africa and Asia Pacific at Quest Software, an enterprise application management solutions provider, from July 2000 to June 2013. He received a B.Sc. double degree in law and accounting from Oxford Brookes University in England.

Lee Weiner

Mr. Lee Weiner is Chief Product Officer of the company. From March 2013 to March 2016, Mr. Weiner served as our Senior Vice President, Products & Engineering. From June 2012 to March 2013, Mr. Weiner served as our Vice President of Products. From October 2008 to June 2012, Mr. Weiner served as Vice President, Products at LogMeIn, Inc., a provider of cloud-based remote connectivity solutions. Mr. Weiner received a B.A. in communications from the University of Massachusetts.

Michael Berry

Mr. Michael J. Berry is an Independent Director of the company. since November 2012. Since November 2014, Mr. Berry has served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Informatica Corporation, a provider of data integration software. From October 2013 to October 2014, Mr. Berry served as Chief Financial Officer of IO Data Centers. Previously, Mr. Berry served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of SolarWinds, Inc., a developer of information technology infrastructure management software, from November 2011 to October 2013, after joining SolarWinds as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in March 2010. Mr. Berry was also Executive Vice President, Finance and Accounting, and Chief Financial Officer of i2 Technologies, Inc., a supply chain management software and services company, from August 2005 to January 2010. Prior to i2, Mr. Berry held various positions at The Reynolds and Reynolds Company, Inc., an automobile dealer support company, including as Senior Vice President of Solutions Management, Development and Operations and Senior Vice President of Services. Mr. Berry received a B.A. in finance from Augsburg College and a M.B.A. in finance from the University of St. Thomas.

Marcus Brown

Mr. Marcus E. Brown is an Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Brown has served as the Managing Director, Corporate Development, Global Head of M&A and Strategic Investments of Microsoft Corporation since January 2000. Mr. Brown holds an A.B. from Colgate University, an M.B.A. from the New York University – Leonard N. Stern School of Business and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.

Judy Bruner

Ms. Judy Bruner is an Independent Director of the Company. Ms. Bruner most recently served as the Executive Vice President, Administration and Chief Financial Officer of SanDisk Corp, a supplier of flash storage products, from June 2004 until May 2016, when SanDisk was acquired by Western Digital. Ms. Bruner also served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Palm, Inc. from 1999 to 2004. Prior to Palm, she held financial management positions with 3Com Corporation, Ridge Computers, Inc. and Hewlett Packard Company. Ms. Bruner currently serves on the board of directors of Brocade Communications Systems, Inc., a publicly traded data and storage networking products company and as chairman of its audit committee. Ms. Bruner also serves on the boards of directors of Applied Materials, Inc., a publicly traded semiconductor manufacturer, and Varian Medical Systems, Inc., a publicly traded manufacturer of medical devices and software. Ms. Bruner holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and an M.B.A. from the University of Santa Clara.

Benjamin Holzman

Mr. Benjamin Holzman is an Independent Director of the company. since August 2008. Since July 2007, Mr. Holzman has worked at Bain Capital Venture Partners, LLC, where he currently serves as a Managing Director. Prior to joining Bain Capital Venture Partners, Mr. Holzman was Vice President of Sales Operations at Iron Mountain, a provider of storage and information management. Prior to Iron Mountain, Mr. Holzman was an investor with Fidelity Ventures and a consultant with McKinsey & Company. Mr. Holzman received a B.S.E. in biomedical and electrical engineering from Duke University and a M.B.A. from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Timothy McAdam

Mr. Timothy McAdam is an Independent Director of the company. since November 2011. Since June 2010, Mr. McAdam has served as a General Partner of Technology Crossover Ventures and has been in the venture capital industry since 1991. Mr. McAdam received a B.A. in Classics from Dartmouth College and a M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Our board of directors believes Mr. McAdam’s expertise as an investor in technology companies qualifies him to serve on our board of directors.

J. Benjamin Nye

Mr. J. Benjamin H. Nye is an Independent Director of the company. since August 2008. Mr. Nye is a Managing Director and leads the technology and infrastructure investing efforts for Bain Capital Venture Partners, LLC, which he joined in October 2004. Mr. Nye has also served as the Chief Executive Officer of VMTurbo, Inc., a software company that provides virtualization management solutions for control cloud and virtualized environments, since September 2013. From June 2003 until October 2004, Mr. Nye was a Senior Vice President at VERITAS Software Corporation, a software company. Mr. Nye served as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Precise Software Solutions, Ltd., an application performance management company, where Mr. Nye joined in January 2000. Mr. Nye has served as a director of SolarWinds since December 2005. He also serves on the boards of directors of several private companies, including AppNeta, AppAssure and VMTurbo. Mr. Nye received a B.A. in government from Harvard College and a M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Thomas Schodorf

Mr. Thomas E. Schodorf is an Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Schodorf has served as the Senior Vice President, Field Operations of Splunk Inc., a provider of log-management and analytic-systems software, from October 2009 to March 2015. Mr. Schodorf holds a B.S.B.A. from The Ohio State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Dayton.
