Biographies

Name Description

Paul Edgerley

Mr. Paul Edgerley has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sensata Technologies Holding PLC since May 2015. Previously he served as Chairman of the company from July 2012 until January 2013. He has also served as a director of the Company since our initial public offering in March 2010. Prior to our initial public offering, Mr. Edgerley served as a director of our principal operating subsidiary, Sensata Technologies (“STI”) since the completion of the 2006 Acquisition. Mr. Edgerley is currently a Senior Advisor of Bain Capital. From 1990 through March 2016, Mr. Edgerley was a managing director of Bain Capital. Prior to joining Bain Capital in 1988, Mr. Edgerley spent five years at Bain & Company where he worked as a consultant and a manager in the healthcare, information services, retail, and automobile industries. Previously he was a Certified Public Accountant with Peat Marwick Mitchell & Company. Mr. Edgerley has served on the board of directors of Steel Dynamics, Inc., a public company, since 2002. Mr. Edgerley previously served as a director of HD Supply Holdings, Inc., a public company, from 2007 through 2015. In addition, Mr. Edgerley serves on the board of directors of MYOB, Apex Tool Group, LLC, FTE Automotive, Hero Moto Corporation, and TI Automotive. Mr. Edgerley is a former director of Keystone Automotive Operations, Inc. and MEI Conlux Holdings, Inc. He graduated from kansas State University with Bachelor degree and from Harvard University with Masters of Business Administration degree.

Martha Sullivan

Ms. Martha Sullivan serves as Chief Executive Officer (since January 2013) and Member of the Board of Directors of Sensata Technologies Holding PLC. Martha Sullivan was appointed as Chief Executive Officer in January, 2013 and President in September, 2010. She is a Member of Growth and Innovation Committee at the company. Previously, she was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, a position she held since the business was purchased by Bain Capital in April 2006. Ms. Sullivan joined Texas Instruments in 1984 and held various management positions, including Vice President of Sensor Products from 1997 to 2006. Past and present external positions include the Key Executive Council at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, President’s Alumni Council at Michigan Technological University, and Ford International Supplier Advisory Council. She was recently inducted into the Academy of Mechanical Engineering at Michigan Tech, and holds an Honorary Doctorate in Philosophy from that institution. She has been a speaker and panelist in a number of technology industry and academic forums including the Ernst & Young China Business Roundtable, Executive Women’s Conference (Morgan Stanley), International Electronics Manufacturing Initiative, Inc. and the Innovation Leadership Forum. She graduated from Michigan Technological University with Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Paul Vasington

Mr. Paul Vasington has been appointed Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer of Sensata Technologies Holding PLC since April 2014. Mr. Vasington is responsible for the leadership and oversight of all global financial activities of Sensata. Mr. Vasington has 24 years of diverse financial and managerial experience, including nearly 10 years with Honeywell International Inc. He most recently served as Vice President and CFO of Honeywell Aerospace, where he led global financial initiatives, activities and operations for this $12 billion revenue division. Prior to this role he served as Vice President and CFO of Honeywell Performance Materials & Technologies where he helped drive profit and margin growth and as Vice President and CFO of Honeywell Security. Prior to Honeywell, Mr. Vasington held finance leadership roles at Crane Co. and Fortune Brands, Inc. Mr. Vasington began his career at Price Waterhouse. Mr. Vasington received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Connecticut and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Jeffrey Cote

Mr. Jeffrey J. Cote has been Executive Vice President of the Global Sensing Solutions business of Sensata Technologies Holding PLC since November 2015. He was appointed as Sensata's Chief Operating Officer in July 2012. He joined Sensata as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in January 2007, and was appointed Executive Vice President in July 2007. Prior to joining Sensata, Mr. Cote was the Chief Operating Officer at Ropes & Gray LLP’s and managed their operations by directing the firm’s administrative and operational initiatives, including being responsible for building the infrastructure to enhance Ropes & Gray’s position as a leading national law firm and helped to develop its global presence. Additionally, Mr. Cote served as Chief Operating, Financial and Administrative Officer for Digitas, Inc., where he managed worldwide operations, finance, investor relations, facilities management, delivery management, information technology and corporate development. He joined Digitas as Senior Vice President and Controller. Mr. Cote started his professional career with Ernst & Young and served in their tax, audit and national accounting groups. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Accounting degree from Florida Atlantic University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida and in Massachusetts.

Allisha Elliott

Ms. Allisha Elliott has been appointed Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer of Sensata Technologies Holding PLC since September, 2013. Ms. Elliott was previously Vice President of Human Resources and Communications for Honeywell International’s Transportation Systems division based in Switzerland. Prior to this role, she was Human Resources Functional Transformation Vice President across Honeywell International and held roles as Human Resources Director for several Honeywell divisions, based both in Shanghai, China and Phoenix, Arizona. Before joining Honeywell in 2000, she held senior HR roles at Amazon.com and the Pepsi Bottling Group. She has a Master’s degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, IL and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN.

Steve Beringhause

Mr. Steve Beringhause has been appointed Executive Vice President of Sensata Technologies Holding PLC since April 2015 and since November 2015 he was appointed Chief Technology Officer. Previously he held many positions at the company: Senior Vice President of the Global Performance Business, Senior Vice President of Performance Sensing Asia and the Americas, among others. Mr. Beringhause joined Sensata's predecessor company, Texas Instruments, in 1998 and served in various Design Engineering capacities. He graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with Bachelor and Master in Mechanical Engineering.

Paul Chawla

Mr. Paul Chawla has been appointed Senior Vice President, Performance Sensing Automotive of Sensata Technologies Holding PLC since December 2017. Mr. Chawla joined Sensata as Vice President, Sensors Europe in June 2014 from Johnson Controls (JCI) where he served as Vice President and General Manager for the company’s India business unit. Paul was appointed Senior Vice President, Performance Sensing, Auto Europe in April 2016. Prior to this role, he held General Manager and director positions in France and Germany for JCI. Since he joined Sensata he has been instrumental in improving customer satisfaction resulting in new business wins; establishing and expanding an engineering center of excellence in Bulgaria; and enhancing Sensata’s leadership and project management capabilities across Europe. Mr. Paul Chawla has a Doctorate of Nuclear Engineering from Politecnico di Torino.

James Heppelmann

Mr. James (Jim) E. Heppelmann has been appointed Member of the Board of Directors of Sensata Technologies Holding PLC since 2014. Mr. Heppelmann is currently also the President and Chief Executive Officer of PTC, Inc. a role he has held since 2010. He previously held the role of President and Chief Operating Officer, as well as Executive Vice President of Software Solutions and Chief Product Officer. Prior to PTC, Mr. Heppelmann was co-founder, Chief Technical Officer and Vice President of Marketing for Windchill Technology, Inc. He previously served as Chief Technology Officer of Metaphase, Inc. and held various positions at Control Data Corporation. He currently sits on the board of PTC, the Executive Advisory Board of FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) and the Dean's Advisory Board of the University of Minnesota College of Science and Engineering. Mr. Heppelmann brings a detailed understanding of technological issues relevant to Sensata, including the rapid evolution of smart, connected products and the Internet of Things. He is a Member of Growth and Innovation, Finance, Nominating and Governance Committees at the company and Chairman of Compensation Committee.

Charles Peffer

Mr. Charles W. Peffer has been appointed Member of the Board of Directors of Sensata Technologies Holding PLC. He was also partner of KPMG LLP and its predecessor firms from 1979 until his retirement in 2002. Mr. Peffer served in KPMG’s Kansas City office as Partner in Charge of Audit from 1986 to 1993 and as Managing Partner from 1993 to 2000. Mr. Peffer is a director of Garmin, Ltd., NPC International, Inc. and the Commerce Funds, a family of eight mutual funds. He graduated from University of Kansas with Bachelor of Business Administration degree and from North West London University with Master of Business Administration Degree.

Kirk Pond

Mr. Kirk P. Pond has been appointed Member of the Board or Directors of Sensata Technologies Holding PLC since March 2011. Mr. Pond was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Fairchild Semiconductor International, Inc. from June 1996 until May 2005. He also served as the Chairman of Fairchild’s board of directors from 1997 until June 2006. Prior to his service with Fairchild and its predecessor, National Semiconductor, Mr. Pond served in executive positions with Timex Corporation and Texas Instruments. Mr. Pond served as a member of the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston from January 2004 until January 2007, and he currently serves on the board of directors of Wright Express Corporation and Brooks Automation, Inc. Mr. Pond has also served on the advisory board of the University of Arkansas Engineering School since 1987. He graduated from University of Arkansas with Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with Master degree in Business Science.

Constance Skidmore

Ms. Constance (Connie) Ellen Skidmore has been appointed Member of the Board of Directors of Sensata Technologies Holding PLC since March 2017. She is a Member of Growth and Innovation Committee, Nominating and Governance Committee and Chairman of Audit Committee at the company. She retired from PricewaterhouseCoopers ("PwC") in 2009, after serving for over two decades as a partner, including a term on PwC’s governing board. During her tenure with PwC, Ms. Skidmore worked with a variety of public and privately held companies advising on accounting and tax strategies, global corporate structuring, due diligence projects, employee benefit plans, corporate mergers and acquisitions, stock options, and syndications. She served as the primary tax advisor on numerous initial public offerings and other SEC filings. During her years as an advisor, she developed expertise in the technology, manufacturing, and extractive industries. Prior to joining PwC, Ms. Skidmore was a tax specialist with the Internal Revenue Service. She holds a B.S. degree from Florida State University and a M.S. degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University. Recently, she completed the Directors College program at Stanford Law School. Ms. Skidmore also serves on the board of directors of Comfort Systems USA, Inc. and ShoreTel, Inc. Ms. Skidmore brings to the Board experience in accounting and finance and experience and knowledge in talent management and strategic planning.

Andrew Teich

Mr. Andrew C. Teich serves as Member of the Board of Directors of Sensata Technologies Holding PLC since 2014. He is a Mermber of Compensation Committee, Nominating and Governance Committee, Finance Committee and Chairman of Growth and Innovation Committee at the comnany. Mr. Teich is currently also the President and Chief Executive Officer of FLIR Systems and has held this position since the beginning of 2013. He joined FLIR in 1999 as Senior Vice President of Marketing and has held various positions within the company including President of Commercial Vision Systems and President of Commercial Systems. Prior to joining FLIR, Mr. Teich held various positions at Inframetrics, Inc. (acquired by FLIR in 1999), including Senior Vice President of Marketing and various sales roles. He has served on the board of directors of FLIR since July 2013. Mr. Teich brings valued management and executive experience and insight within the industry. He graduated from Arizona State University with Bachelor degree in Marketing.

Thomas Wroe

Mr. Thomas (Tom) Wroe Jr. has served as Member of the Board of Directors of Sensata Technologies Holding PLC. Thomas Wroe served as Chief Executive Officer of Sensata Technologies and as a director from the time the business was purchased by Bain Capital in April 2006 until January 2013 and was Chairman of the Board from June 2006 to June 2012 and from January 2013 to May 2015. Previously, Mr. Wroe served as the President of the Sensors & Controls (S&C) business of Texas Instruments and as a Senior Vice President of Texas Instruments. Mr. Wroe was with Texas Instruments since 1972, and prior to becoming President of the S&C business, Mr. Wroe worked in various engineering and business management positions. Mr. Wroe also served as CEO of Apex Tool Group, LLC and is presently the Executive Chairman of its Board of Directors. He is also a member of the board of directors of Cape Cod Healthcare, Chase Corporation and GT Advanced Technologies. He graduated from University of Rhode Island with Bachelor degree in Engineering.

Stephen Zide

Mr. Stephen M. Zide has served as Member of the Board of Directors of Sensata Technologies Holding PLC. Mr. Stephen Zide has also served as a director of the Company since our initial public offering in March 2010. Prior to our initial public offering, Mr. Zide served as a director of STI since the completion of the 2006 Acquisition. Mr. Zide is currently a Senior Advisor of Bain Capital. From 2001 through 2015, Mr. Zide was a managing director of Bain Capital. Prior to joining Bain Capital in 1997, Mr. Zide was a partner of the law firm Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where he was a founding member of the New York office and specialized in representing private equity and venture capital firms. Mr. Zide has been a director of Trinseo S.A., a public company, since 2010. Mr. Zide also serves on the board of directors of Consolidated Container Corporation. Previously, Mr. Zide served on the board of directors of HD Supply Holdings, Inc., a public company, from 2007 through 2014, Apex Tool Group, LLC from 2013 through 2014, and Innophos Holdings, Inc., a public company, from 2004 through 2013.
