Name Description

Henry Hamilton

Mr. Henry H. (Hank) Hamilton III has been Independent Chairman of the Board of Directors of TGS Nopec Geophysical Company ASA since June 4, 2009. He has been Member of the Company's Board of Directors since 1998. He served as Chief Executive Officer of the Company from 1995 to June 4, 2009. He began his career as a Geophysicist with Shell Offshore (1981-1987) before he moved to Schlumberger (1987-1995) where he ultimately held the position of Vice President and General Manager for all seismic product lines in North and South America. Mr. Hamilton served on the Board of Directors for the International Association of Geophysical Contractors (IAGC) from 1993 to 2011 and joined the board of the Society of Exploration Geophysics (SEG) Foundation at the end of 2010. He serves as Member of the Board of Odfjell Drilling and for two non-profit organizations: the University of North Carolina College of Arts and Sciences Foundation and Defy Ventures.

Kristian Johansen

Mr. Kristian Kuvaas Johansen has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of TGS Nopec Geophysical Company ASA effective as of March 11, 2016. Before that, he has been Chief Operating Officer of the Company since February 1, 2015. He served as Interim Chief Financial Officer of the Company from February 1, 2015 until September 2015. He has served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Company from 2010. Before that, he acted as Executive Vice President and CFO of EDB Business Partner in Oslo (now Evry). He has experience in the construction, banking, and oil industries. Mr. Johansen holds undergraduate (1998) and Master’s (1999) degrees in Business Administration from the University of New Mexico, United States.

Sven Larsen

Mr. Sven Borre Larsen has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of TGS Nopec Geophysical Company ASA, effective as of September 1, 2015. Most recently, Mr. Larsen was the Chief Financial Officer of Prosafe Management AS in Norway, the world's leading owner and operator of accommodation support vessels for the offshore oil and gas industry. Mr. Larsen also has extensive experience as a Financial Analyst in a broad range of industries including the oil services sector. He has also been CFO of Prosafe Production. Mr. Larsen earned his Master of Science degree in Business with a specialization in finance at the Bodo Graduate School of Business.

John Adamick

Mr. John A. Adamick has been Senior Vice President Geological Products & Services at TGS Nopec Geophysical Company ASA since 2008. Previously, he served as Vice President - Business Development of the Company from 2000. He joined TGS in 1986. He also served as President - Offshore Division in the Company from 1996 until 2000. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Texas A&M University in 1983. In 1987, he graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Master of Science degree in Geology. He also attended and completed Harvard University's Executive MBA program in 1995.

Katja Akantieva

Ms. Katja Akantieva serves as Senior Vice President Onshore at TGS Nopec Geophysical Company ASA. She has previously been Senior Vice President Western Hemisphere at the Company. She joined the Company in 2012 with the acquisition of Arcis and was appointed Managing Director Arcis and North American Arctic. Prior to joining Arcis in 2008, Katja spent 11 years with Schlumberger where she held various positions within geophysics, sales and business development based in the UK, Norway and Canada. She received her Master’s degree in geology and geophysics from Moscow State University in 1996, she also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Languages from Moscow State University and an MBA from the Erasmus University in the Netherlands.

Fredrik Amundsen

Mr. Fredrik Amundsen has been Senior Vice President Europe and Asia Pacific at TGS Nopec Geophysical Company ASA since April 2016. Fredrik joined TGS in 2003 as Financial Controller and has since served TGS in a variety of capacities. These include Corporate Controller, Director of Finance, Director of Sales, and lately VP of Europe & Russia before being appointed Senior Vice President Europe and Asia Pacific in 2016. Fredrik received B.A (Hons) in Business Administration from Washington State University in 2001.

Zhiming Li

Mr. Li Zhiming has served as Senior Vice President Data Processing & Research and Development of TGS Nopec Geophysical Company ASA since 2007. He has 32 years of experience of oil companies, geophysical companies and academia. In 2003, he became one of the partners of Parallel Data Systems, a company acquired by TGS in 2007. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Exploration Geophysics from East China Petroleum Institute, now China University of Petroleum, in 1982, and a Doctorate in Philosophy degree in Geophysics from Stanford University in 1986.

Tana Pool

Ms. Tana L. Pool has served as Vice President General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at TGS Nopec Geophysical Company ASA since 2013. She has over 25 years of legal experience, with significant knowledge of the energy and construction industries. Her previous experience includes over nine years of private practice in corporate and transactional law with several global law firms, including most recently Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP. She is also a Certified Public Accountant and has over seven years of accounting experience prior to her legal career. Tana received her BBA degree in Accounting from Texas Tech University and her JD degree from the University of Houston Law Center.

William Ashby

Mr. William (Will) Ashby has been Vice President Human Resources & Communication at TGS Nopec Geophysical Company ASA since April 2016. Will joined TGS in 2011 with the acquisition of Stingray Geophysical. He has served TGS in a number of Director roles including M&A, Finance, and Investor Relations before being appointed Vice President HR & Communication. Prior to founding Stingray Geophysical, Will worked in various commercial positions with BP, TradeRanger and QinetiQ. Will received M.A (Hons) and B.A (Hons) degrees in Geography from the University of Oxford in 1997.

Knut Agersborg

Mr. Knut Agersborg has served as Vice President Global Services of TGS Nopec Geophysical Company ASA since December 2008. He joined TGS in 2005 as Manager of Operations. He has more than 30 years of industry experience including 22 years with Schlumberger/WesternGeco where he held senior managerial positions in Operations and Human Resources in Europe and North America. Mr. Agersborg graduated from Narvik University College (Hogskolen i Narvik) in 1979 with a degree in Electronic Engineering.

Tanya Herwanger

Ms. Tanya Herwanger has been Vice President Africa and Middle East at TGS Nopec Geophysical Company ASA since January 2016. Tanya joined TGS in 2014 as Corporate Counsel. In 2015, she made a cross function move to sales and business development and then in January 2016 was appointed Vice President for the Africa and Middle East business unit. Prior to joining TGS, she spent eight years with Schlumberger based in the US and in the UK. Tanya received her Law degree from the University of London, Queen Mary and Westfield College and professional legal qualifications from the Inns of Court School of Law in London and previously served as a dual qualified Solicitor in the UK and in her native home of Belize.

Nils Dyvik

Mr. Nils Petter Dyvik has been Director of TGS Nopec Geophysical Company ASA since May 9, 2017. Mr. Dyvik has served in various capacities for Wilh Wilhemsen, a global maritime company, most recently as Group CFO from 2007 to 2016. From 2002 to 2007, he served as CEO of Wallenius Wilhelmsen, from 1999 to 2002, as Deputy CEO of Wilh Wilhelmsen, and from 1996 to 1999, as Deputy CEO of Wilhelmsen Lines AS. Prior to joining Wilh Wilhemsen, he served as CEO and Deputy CEO for Norwegian American Line from 1988 to 1996, and worked with Kreditkassen (Nordea) from 1986 to 1988, L.M. Skaugen from 1980 to 1986, and Saga Petrokjemi from 1979 to 1980. Mr. Dyvik has extensive board experience, and currently serves as the Chair of NorSea Group and Wilhelmsen Ferd Offshore AS and as a member of the Board for The Maritime Rescue School.

Wenche Agerup

Ms. Wenche Marie Agerup has served as Independent Member of the Board of Directors of TGS Nopec Geophysical Company ASA since May 6, 2015. She is also EVP Corporate Affairs and General Counsel Executive in Telenor ASA. Her experience includes leading roles with Norsk Hydro ASA from 1997 to 2015, including Executive Vice President, Corporate Staffs & General Counsel and member of the Corporate Management Board (2010-2015), Project Director at Hydro UMC Joint Venture (Australia), and Plant Manager at Ardal Metal Plant (Norway). In her most recent role as Executive Vice President of Norsk Hydro ASA, she reported to the CEO and was the head of Corporate HR & Organization, Health, Safety, Security and Environment, Corporate Social Responsibility, Legal Department, Compliance and the Technology Office. Ms. Agerup also serves on the board of Statoil.

Elisabeth Grieg

Ms. Elisabeth Grieg has been Independent Member of the Board of Directors of TGS Nopec Geophysical Company ASA since September 28, 2015. Ms. Grieg is currently CEO of Grieg International AS, co-owner of the Grieg Group, and serves as a member on the board of several of the other Grieg Group companies. Ms. Grieg chaired the board of GIEK (Norwegian Guarantee Institute for Export Credits). She was the first female President of the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association as well as a member of the corporate assembly of Orkla ASA. Previously she served as a board member for many prominent Norwegian companies, such as Statoil, Nordea AB and Norsk Hydro.

Mark Leonard

Mr. Mark S. Leonard has served as Independent Member of the Board of Directors of TGS Nopec Geophysical Company ASA since 2009. He is the President of Leonard Exploration, Inc. He retired in 2007 from Shell Oil Company after 28 years of service. During his tenure at Shell, he held a number of executive positions including Director of New Business Development in Russia/CIS, Director of Shell Deepwater Services, Director of Shell E&P International Ventures, and Chief Geophysicist for Gulf of Mexico.

Tor Lonnum

Mr. Tor Magne Lonnum has served as Independent Member of the Board of Directors of TGS Nopec Geophysical Company ASA since June 4, 2013. He is Chief financial Officer of Aimia Inc. Before that, he was Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in Tryg AS and Tryg Forsikring AS from 2011 till 2016. Previously, he held the positions of CFO in Skipper Electronics AS, Accountant in Samarbeidende Revisorer AS, Manager in KPMG, Group CFO and Group Director in Gjensidige NOR Insurance, and Deputy CEO and Group CFO in Gjensidige Forsikring ASA.

Vicki Messer

Ms. Vicki Messer has served as Independent Member of the Board of Directors of TGS Nopec Geophysical Company ASA since June 7, 2011. She is as an independent consultant. Ms. Messer has 32 years of geophysical industry experience from various executive, management and supervisory positions at such companies as CGG Veritas, Veritas DGC, Halliburton Energy Services/Halliburton Geophysical, and Geophysical Services Inc.

Torstein Sanness

Mr. Torstein Sanness has been Independent Director at TGS Nopec Geophysical Company ASA since May 10, 2016. Mr. Sanness served as the Chairman of Lundin Norway from April 2015 to March 2017, when he moved to the board of International Petroleum Corp., a Lundin Group company. He previously served as the Managing Director of Lundin Norway from 2004 to 2015. From 2000 to 2004, he served as Managing Director of Det Norske Oljeselskap AS, and from 1972 to 2000, he served in various capacities for Saga Petroleum, working primarily in the exploration and development of Saga’s oil and gas interests globally. Mr. Sanness serves as a board member for Panoro Energy ASA.
