Name Description

Dan Batrack

Mr. Dan L. Batrack is Chairman of the Board, President, Chief Executive Officer of Tetra Tech, Inc. Mr. Batrack joined our predecessor in 1980 and was named Chairman in January 2008. He has served as our Chief Executive Officer and a director since November 2005, and as our President since October 2008. Mr. Batrack has served in numerous capacities over the last 30 years, including project scientist, project manager, operations manager, Senior Vice President and President of an operating unit. He has managed complex programs for many small and Fortune 500 clients, both in the United States and internationally. Mr. Batrack holds a B.A. degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington.

Steven Burdick

Mr. Steven M. Burdick is Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President, Treasurer of Tetra Tech, Inc. Mr. Burdick has served as our Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer since April 2011. He served as our Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller from January 2004 to March 2011. Mr. Burdick joined us in April 2003 as Vice President, Management Audit. Previously, Mr. Burdick served in financial executive management roles in private industry and with Ernst & Young LLP. Mr. Burdick holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Santa Clara University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Leslie Shoemaker

Dr. Leslie L. Shoemaker is Executive Vice President, President - Water, Environment and Infrastructure (WEI) segment of TETRA TECH, INC. Dr. Shoemaker was named President of WEI in April 2015. Dr. Shoemaker joined us in 1991, and has previously served in various management capacities, including project and program manager, water resources manager and infrastructure group president. From 2005 to 2015, she led our strategic planning, business development and company-wide collaboration programs. Her technical expertise is in the management of large-scale watershed and master planning studies, development of modeling tools and application of optimization tools for decision making. Dr. Shoemaker holds a B.A. degree in Mathematics from Hamilton College, a Master of Engineering from Cornell University and a Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Maryland.

Brian Carter

Mr. Brian N. Carter is Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer, Corporate Controller of Tetra Tech, Inc. Mr. Carter joined Tetra Tech as Vice President, Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer in June 2011 and was appointed Senior Vice President in October 2012. Previously, Mr. Carter served in finance and auditing positions in private industry and with Ernst & Young LLP. Mr. Carter holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Miami University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Craig Christensen

Mr. Craig L. Christensen is Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer of Tetra Tech, Inc. Mr. Christensen joined us in 1998 through the acquisition of our Tetra Tech NUS, Inc. ("NUS") subsidiary. Mr. Christensen is responsible for our information services and technologies, including the implementation of our enterprise resource planning system. Previously, Mr. Christensen held positions at NUS, Brown and Root Services, and Landmark Graphics subsidiaries of Halliburton Company where his responsibilities included contracts administration, finance, and system development. Prior to his service at Halliburton, Mr. Christensen held positions at Burroughs Corporation and Apple Computer. Mr. Christensen holds B.A. and M.B.A. degrees from Brigham Young University.

Janis Salin

Ms. Janis B. Salin is Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Secretary of Tetra Tech, Inc. Ms. Salin joined us in February 2002. For the prior 18 years, Ms. Salin was a Principal with the law firm of Riordan & McKinzie in Los Angeles, and served as Managing Principal of that firm from 1990 to 1992. She served as our outside counsel from the time of our formation in 1988. Ms. Salin holds B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Kevin McDonald

Mr. Kevin P. McDonald is Senior Vice President - Corporate Human Resources of Tetra Tech, Inc. Mr. McDonald joined us in 2003 through the acquisition of Foster Wheeler Environmental Corporation. He is responsible for all areas of human resources ("HR"), including executive compensation, employee benefits, succession planning, human resources information systems, and employment law compliance. Prior to leading our corporate HR organization, Mr. McDonald was the HR Director for one of our subsidiaries. He has more than 30 years' experience in the engineering and construction services industry. Mr. McDonald earned a B.S. degree in Management from the University of Scranton and an M.B.A from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Derek Amidon

Mr. Derek G. Amidon is Senior Vice President and President of the Commercial Account Management Division of CIG of the company. He has served as a project manager, key account manager, operations manager, and regional manager since joining Tetra Tech in 2012. He has managed a variety of complex, high profile programs for key Tetra Tech clients, including Fortune 100 companies. His focus has been on leading high value consulting services that deliver scientific, engineering and regulatory solutions for challenging environmental, engineering, permitting and public relations problems for oil and gas, mining, industrial, institutional and custodial trust clients. He has a demonstrated track record in leading complex environmental investigations and developing creative remedial solutions for client environmental liabilities. He has managed projects in the U.S., Africa, Australia, Europe, and the Caribbean. In addition to experience in both public and private consulting and engineering firms over his 24-year career, Mr. Amidon also served in a variety of business leadership and project development roles at Hess Corporation, a leading independent oil and gas company. Mr. Amidon is a registered Professional Engineer. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Civil Engineering from Brigham Young University and a M.S. in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Roger Argus

Mr. Roger R. Argus is Senior Vice President - GSG and President of the U.S. of the company. He is a chemical engineer with 33 years of experience, including 25 years with Tetra Tech, in operational leadership, program and project management, and quality assurance for projects encompassing a broad spectrum of environmental, engineering, and emergency management services. Mr. Argus has also been responsible for managing multidisciplinary contracts and projects in support of the U.S. federal government (i.e., Navy, Army Corps of Engineers, and the Environmental Protection Agency), state and municipal agencies, and private clients nationwide. The scope of his technical experience includes planning and directing environmental field investigations, engineering feasibility studies and designs, construction management, and research and development support for innovative environmental technologies and waste treatment systems. Mr. Argus holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach.

Jan Auman

Mr. Jan K. Auman is Senior Vice President and President of the Global Development Services Division of GSG of the company. He has over 40 years of experience managing large, complex international development and technical assistance operations, having served 10 years with the United States federal government and 30 years in the private sector. With 20 years of residence overseas in eight countries, Mr. Auman has hands-on technical expertise in the areas of natural resources management, conflict resolution, political transformation, institutional development, and policy formulation in the Middle East, the South Pacific, the Caribbean, and Africa. Mr. Auman's overall direction for Tetra Tech's international development operations includes technical, operational, administrative, fiscal, and representational responsibilities involving operations that manage projects in over 60 countries. Mr. Auman joined Tetra Tech through an acquisition in 2007. William Brownlie

Dr. William R. Brownlie is Senior Vice President, Chief Engineer and Corporate Risk Management Officer of Tetra Tech, Inc. Dr. Brownlie was named Senior Vice President and Chief Engineer in September 2009, and Corporate Risk Management Officer in November 2013. From December 2005 to September 2009, he served as a Group President. Dr. Brownlie joined our predecessor in 1981 and was named a Senior Vice President in December 1993. Dr. Brownlie has managed various operating units and programs focusing on water resources and environmental services, including work with USACE, the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Bureau of Reclamation and DOE. He is a registered professional engineer and has a strong technical background in water resources. Dr. Brownlie holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Civil Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the California Institute of Technology.

Richard Lemmon

Mr. Richard A. Lemmon is Senior Vice President - Corporate Administration of Tetra Tech, Inc. Mr. Lemmon joined our predecessor in 1981 in a technical capacity and became a member of its corporate staff in a management position in 1985. In 1988, at the time of our predecessor's divestiture from Honeywell, Inc., Mr. Lemmon structured and managed many of our corporate functions. He is currently responsible for insurance, risk management, human resources, safety and facilities.

Mark Rynning

Mr. Mark A. Rynning is Senior Vice President and President of the U.S. Infrastructure Division of GSG of the company. He has more than 30 years of experience in the engineering consulting industry, including 27 years with Tetra Tech. He is a registered professional engineer and has served Tetra Tech in numerous capacities including project manager, operations manager, and operating unit leader. He has managed large water infrastructure programs for state and local agencies throughout the United States. Mr. Rynning has broad experience in planning and design of water and wastewater infrastructure, utility master planning, and design of water and wastewater transmission and collection systems. In addition, Mr. Rynning has planned and designed reverse osmosis water treatment plants and advanced wastewater treatment systems. He has provided expert advisory services to numerous municipal clients for utility system acquisitions. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a Master of Business Administration, both from the University of Florida.

Bernard Teufele

Mr. Bernard Teufele is Senior Vice President and President of the Canada and South America Division of CIG of the company. He has over 22 years of consulting engineering experience as a leader of a highly diversified, high-end infrastructure practice and as a technical expert in the field of infrastructure monitoring and asset management. Prior to his current role, Mr. Teufele has managed operating units of increasing size and complexity with a primary focus on infrastructure, environmental sciences, civil transportation, and mining-related services doing work for municipal, provincial, and federal government clients in Canada. He has managed key provincial infrastructure programs in Canada with a particular focus on the monitoring and assessment of roadway infrastructure and the development of asset management programs. Mr. Teufele, who joined Tetra Tech through an acquisition in 2010, has also been instrumental in advancing Tetra Tech's involvement with private sector infrastructure clients on large alternate delivery projects (design-build and public-private partnership P3 projects). Mr. Teufele has a B.Sc. in Applied Science from the University of British Columbia.

Hugh Grant

Mr. Hugh M. Grant is Independent Director of Tetra Tech Inc. Mr. Grant joined our Board in January 2003. He spent approximately 38 years with Ernst & Young LLP (and its predecessor, Arthur Young & Company); Vice Chairman and Regional Managing Partner of the Western United States; Served as the audit partner in charge of several large public companies, including those in the engineering and construction and defense industries; Served on Ernst & Young's 15-member Management Committee for ten years; Serves as the Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Inglewood Park Cemetery since 1998; he received Bachelor of Science degree in Business, with distinction, from the University of Kansas.

Patrick Haden

Mr. Patrick C. Haden serves as Independent Director of Tetra Tech, Inc. Mr. Haden has been a member of our Board since December 1992. Since August 2010, Mr. Haden is Special Advisor to the President, University of Southern California (USC), from July 2016 to present; Athletic Director, USC, from August 2010 to June 2016; Director of TCW Funds, TCW Strategic Income Fund (a closed end mutual fund listed on the NYSE 2), TCW Liquid Alternative Fund and Met West Funds, and serves on various Board committees of these companies; Director of Auto Club of Southern California, and on the Audit/Finance and Investment Committees, since 2016; General Partner of Riordan, Lewis & Haden (RLH), a Los Angeles-based private equity firm, from 1987 to August 2010; Director of several portfolio companies during his tenure at RLH; Serves on several foundation Boards: Rose Hills, Fletcher Jones, Unihealth and Mayr. he received Rhodes Scholarship to Oxford University; degree in Economics

john Lewis

Mr. John Christopher Lewis is Presiding Independent Director of Tetra Tech, Inc. Mr. Lewis has been a member of our Board since February 1988. He currently serves as the Managing Director (and co-founder) of RLH since 1982; Director of several privately-held companies: The Chartis Group, RGM Group, Bluewolf Group and Silverado Senior Living; Previously served as a director of two publicly-traded companies. he received has Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

Joanne Maguire

Ms. Joanne M. Maguire serves as Independent Director of the Company. Ms. Maguire served as Executive Vice President of Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company (“SSC”), a provider of advanced-technology systems for national security, civil and commercial customers, from 2006 until she retired in 2013. Ms. Maguire joined Lockheed Martin in 2003 and assumed leadership of SSC in 2006. Prior to joining Lockheed Martin, Ms. Maguire was with TRW’s Space & Electronics sector (now part of Northrop Grumman), filling a range of progressively responsible positions from engineering analyst to Vice President and deputy to the sector’s CEO, and serving in various leadership roles. Ms. Maguire also sits on the boards of directors of CommScope Holding, Inc., Visteon Corporation and the Charles Stark Draper Laboratory. She is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, a fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and a Life Director of The Space Foundation. Ms. Maguire received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University, Master’s Degree in Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and attended the Executive Program in Management at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management and the Program for Senior Executives in National and International Security at Harvard University.

Kimberly Ritrievi

Dr. Kimberly E. Ritrievi is Independent Director of Tetra Tech, Inc. Dr. Ritrievi has been a member of our Board since November 2013. She is currently President, The Ritrievi Group LLC, advising technology and chemical companies on financial strategies ; Co-Director of Americas Investment Research at Goldman, Sachs & Co. from 2001 to 2004; Former Specialty Chemical Analyst at Goldman, Sachs & Co., Credit Suisse First Boston, Lehman Brothers and Paine Webber (now UBS Wealth Management); Process development engineer at ARCO Chemical; Serves as Vice Chair of the Dean's Advisory Board of the Harvard School of Dental Medicine; Serves as Co-Chair of the Princeton University School of Engineering and Applied Science Leadership Council. She received President, The Ritrievi Group LLC, advising technology and chemical companies on financial strategies. Master's degree in Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management; Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from MIT.

Albert Smith

Mr. Albert E. Smith is an Independent Director of Tetra Tech, Inc. Mr. Smith has been a member of our Board since May 2005. He served as Chairman from March 2006 to January 2008, after having served as Vice Chairman since September 2005. Mr. Smith is a former member of the U.S. Secretary of Defense's Defense Science Board, serving from 2002 to 2005. He was an Executive Vice President of Lockheed Martin and head of its Integrated Systems & Solutions business until 2004. From 1999 to 2003, Mr. Smith was Executive Vice President of Lockheed Martin's Space Systems Company. Prior to that, he was President of Government Systems at Harris Corporation. Mr. Smith has also worked for the Central Intelligence Agency, where he received the Intelligence Medal of Merit. He has served as a director of the Curtiss-Wright Corporation, a multinational provider of highly engineered products and services, since 2006, and is currently a member of its finance and compensation committees. He has served as a director of CDI Corporation, a professional services company, since 2008, and is currently a member of its finance and compensation committees, since 2008. Mr. Smith also served on the Board of Trustees of Aerospace Corporation from 2005 to 2007.

James Thompson

Mr. James Kenneth Thompson is Independent Director of Tetra Tech, Inc. Mr. Thompson joined our Board in April 2007. Since 2000, he has been the President/Chief Executive Officer and a co-owner of Pacific Star Energy, LLC, a private energy investment firm in Alaska. Mr. Thompson served as Managing Director of the Alaska Venture Capital Group LLC, a private oil and gas exploration firm, from 2004 to 2012. From 1998 to 2000, he was the Executive Vice President for ARCO's Asia-Pacific Region. In this role, Mr. Thompson led ARCO's Asia-Pacific operating companies. In previous positions, Mr. Thompson was head of ARCO's oil and gas research and technology center, and was responsible for global technology strategy and energy technology transfer to more than 20 countries. Mr. Thompson served in various technical and management roles at ARCO from 1974 to 2000. Mr. Thompson has served as a director of Alaska Air Group, Inc., a holding company for Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air Industries, since 1999, and is a member of its compensation (chair) and safety committees. He has served as a director of Coeur Mining, Inc. since 2002, and is a member of its governance/nominating, audit and safety/environmental (chair) committees. Mr. Thompson has served as a director of Pioneer Natural Resources Company, a large independent oil and gas exploration and production company, since August 2011, and is a member of its governance/nominating, compensation and safety/environmental (chair) committees. He also serves on the board of Provision Ministry Group, a non-profit organization.

Kirsten Volpi

Ms. Kirsten M. Volpi has been appointed as Independent Director of Tetra Tech, Inc. Ms. Volpi joined our Board in July 2013. She serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, Colorado School of Mines from July 2013 to present, and Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer from August 2005 to August 2011; Chief Administrative Officer, U.S. Olympic Committee, from August 2011 to July 2013; Various financial management roles for Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, the University of Colorado Foundation and the American Water Works Association. she received Bachelor's degree from University of Colorado – Boulder and she is a Certified Public Accountant.

Jim Wu
